Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.

You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.

Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

If the offer is in your cart in order summary you will receive the promo 300. Can't be denied when you have it on paper. If it wasn't in order summary there can be a potential uphill battle.

I'm going to do 5 lines but I only 4 phones I can use.
can I just put in IMEI (that works with Sprint) for 5th line and never use the line and still get the $300?

Customer service has told me shipping warehouse is closed and SIM cards can only be purchased at the store and all stores around me are closed.
I'm not sure where else to get it.

Did anyone get a SIM card recently? And where?

I dunno I was just searching for a cheap phone to activate a number with to port over and saw it. I assume you just buy in store and the person there activates it and gives you the giftcard, jst like all their other gift card promos, like spend $15 on shampoo and get $5 and the cashier scans it and gives it to you

That phone looks locked to Tracfone, why would you buy it, probably won't even pass IMEI check.

I wasn't planning on using the phone, just buying 2 or 3 of them to activate and have a number to port over and buying the $49 phones on Sprint

Once you start activating you sew them online. Same thing happens to me. I had to give it after I got my account number and registered on sprint , I was able to see where to place my account and pin. Transferred in few minutes.

Here is what I did, I had same problem. I called sprint and requested to clear me for 5 lines. They went over credit check which I was wanting to do anyway. And when they asked me about numbers for porting and IMEI, I just said I would like to do it online please. So after credit check, he just game me account number and I had created pin over phone so I knew it. He asked me to go online and create account with it . I did. And then I went back to BF and tried again. It worked.

Quick question for those that completed the BYOD option online..
My summary shows an ICCID# as well as the IMEI of my BYOD phone.
I did not order a SIM card, so I'm not sure where they are pulling the ICCID# from.
Any suggestions?
