How do i do cashback and no credit option together? Do I need to setup no credit account prior? Is there different link or trick?

Regarding the Sprint referral, I already clicked through the referral link and got an email from Sprint confirming.

I don't need to concern myself with having that referral page open and active on Sprint before clicking through on from the BF site, correct?
I can just clear my browser history, cookies, and cache then start with a clean slate on BF to place my order?

goto sprint via cashback site
once on sprint site, search "no credit check"
start order process via the first link in the search results

Just make up your port in number for now to checkout and buy the port in numbers from eBay or get google voice number later. But I don't think your port in number must be match exactly on your order....
Bad advice. The Porting Dept will use the phone numbers that you entered on your order to prepare your porting process. When you call in to actually do the porting and you mistyped a number in your order, that's acceptable. But if all of the phone numbers you entered don't match with the actual numbers you're porting in, you'll have one pissed off rep on the phone.

1. You start with your referral (if you're going to do referral)
2. Go to CB site and search for Sprint and click the link. It will redirect you to Sprint.com
3. On Sprint site, click search, and type no credit check, and click on the link from the results.
From there, you just check out like normal. This should check out with no credit check.

In addition, not all numbers and area codes can be ported. Making up numbers can bring up multiple problems from fraud alerts to aborted ports to outright promotion denials.

Here is what I did, I had same problem. I called sprint and requested to clear me for 5 lines. They went over credit check which I was wanting to do anyway. And when they asked me about numbers for porting and IMEI, I just said I would like to do it online please. So after credit check, he just game me account number and I had created pin over phone so I knew it. He asked me to go online and create account with it . I did. And then I went back to BF and tried again. It worked.
Thanks for your response. Will try this.

What is the referral and why would you want to start with it? Where do I find the referral link? Neither the first post nor any wiki posts mention it.

It's a referral link you use before you signed up to Sprint. You get $50 and referrer gets $50 after 30 days in good standing with Sprint.

Any reason why my first dry run through Sprint's checkout, which I aborted, didn't ask for my SS# or mention a credit check?
I cleared browser cache, cookies, and history and returned to make the actual purchase .... and now I'm being asked for my SS# and it's signaling about a credit check.

There are two paths for making the purchase, one doesn't need credit check. The link is in the Wiki, you might have used that option.

I did this, but it still asked for SS before checkout. Just curious, but why are so many not wanting to do credit checks?

Because each credit check inquiry reduces credit score slightly, and people wanting to buy new homes etc, want to maximize that score.
Also, some people already have the Sprint credit check account, so they have no alternative but to use no-credit-check when trying to open a second account. Sprint allows only one credit-check account.
