Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.

You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.

Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

How many accounts one can have on one address ? I.e. can I have two accounts with 5 line each on one account?

I already have Cc account, may be planning to open non Cc account..but don't want to risk rebate
according to the promo logic there shouldn't be any problems because when signing up with same address and non credit check account. If there was a limit it should not have you be able to do that through their portal system.

I bought 2 LG Tribute Empire phones from sprint.
I want to use their SIMS on iPhone 6s and an iPad. Will that work?
(1) Should I not even power on the LG phone and directly first time activate the sim in the iPhone and the iPad?

OR

(2) I should boot the LG phones and have the SIM connect to sprint then shut down the LG phone and out SIM in iPhone and iPad.

What is the best way? Option 1 or 2.

Thank you in advance.

Last I checked, sprint uses a combination that ties the SIM card to the IMEI, one is useless without the other, if you want to switch equipments you must call and register the sim with the imei of the new phone.

Again, it was this way the last time I used them.

No for 6s. Yes iPad mini 5, Air 3, 10.2 7th gen, Pro 11" 2nd gen, Pro 12.9" 4th gen.
iPad won't work on voice/data plan, you'll need to add tablet plan.

Quick update....
Purchased 5 LG Empire's for $49ea. Received notice from B3Frugal that I'm getting $625 in cashback. Received notice from Sprint that my $50 friend&family referral is processing.

Also, Despite what is in the Wiki, I successfully ported 2 Sprint lines to Google Voice and, a few hours later, ported those numbers back to Sprint under this deal. I got 3 new numbers from Sprint and activated all 5 phones.

Next up, Wait for the 5x$300 gift cards to arrive.

The porting is not the issue, but you maybe denied the rebate if they look closely in the history of the number you ported, especially if its the same name.

Check the wiki, theres a link for part numbers for SIMs.

You might not get any rebate based upon what you stated.

Three new numbers from Sprint for sure will not qualify, as porting a number from elsewhere is a requirement of the rebate.

Denial of rebate may also occur on the other two lines, as they were recently Sprint numbers. I think you needed to be away from them for at least a certain number of days to qualify as a true port-in. For the $300 rebate, at least.

You can use 6s on Sprint but will need different sim than what is shipped with tribute empire.
iPad will need tablet plan $15+ surcharges and fees if byod, also may need different sim(than tribute empire sim) unless it is one of the models I listed.

Can now be swapped online by providing IMEI & ICCID (sim card)

Got an imei from my aunt, thank you all though! GV looks to be the cheapest method? How fast is it to have the number released?

Thank you and repped.

I have compatible SIM for 6S. That means need to go through hassle of changing the SIM number in the account - the ICCID and then put in the iPad.

On cricket they would allow me to use iPad as a phone line. So no need to pay extra for iPad!!

I have an unlocked iPhone 6S but sprint says I cannot use it on their network. It was locked when I did the check and have unlocked it since. But now every time I try to check for use on sprint it says phone cannot be used on sprint.

Anyone experience that issue?

Is it a T Mo phone? I think one of the gsm versions won't work in Sprint.
