Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

I've used a different credit card for each account but I'd like to change the payment to one credit card across all my accounts. I know hpham has done this but does anyone else think this is safe to do?
It should be safe. It is unlikely Sprint would provide credit card details to outside company that handles their rebates.

I used unlocked G voice numbers to order 5 lg phones , when placing the order , I didn't unlock the number, Should I wait until the phones arrive and then unlock the G voice number while do the porting process? or now it's the time to unlock the numbers? Just wondering if Sprint start to process porting before you register account and input the porting info to switch the lines? Thanks.
For five lines, Sprint porting dept will contact you or you must contact them. Absolutely nothing will happen until this contact is made.
In the very worst case, if they tried to port before you have unlocked, they will get an error and follow up with you to sort things out.
You will be okay.

I bought 5 phones from Sprint to maximize the CB, but I have 2 phones of my own that I want to use. Can I swap out 2 of the phones after I port the numbers or do I have to use the new phones for awhile in order to be able to get the rebate?
You can swap shortly after you have activated the lines on phones you received from Sprint. As you may have noticed during checkout, the $300 offer is tied to the line, not the phone.
Make sure that you have compatible Sprint SIMs for the phones that you plan to swap in. Sprint has different SIMs for different phone models [s4gru.com]. Do not assume that SIMs you receive with new Sprint phones will be compatible with your old phones.

Great. Then I won't rush to unlock the numbers.

has anyone tried using their 1yr FP account to sign up? I still see the $300 promo, but when I add to cart it's not there. The $100 promo for Unlimited Plus doesn't work though, only Unlimited Basic for $100.

Sprint chat says yes, I know that doesn't mean much.

I can't be approved for a credit check & no credit check account using all the addresses I've tried.

edit: banner doesn't say need to be a new customer

This is the real worry here. T-Mobile may have shut it down early...

Ancient news. Love my credit union has never worked for 1 year free, kickstart (any version), and even Unlimited Basic. Must be Unlimited Plus or higher to enroll (of course old plans apply)
Unlimited plus here and was denied
