Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Yes. I tried a lot of combinations with my address, names, emails, phone numbers, after which each of those individual items were blocked at different addresses, which then blocked the alternate addresses, even using different computers, incognito, credit check, or no, etc.

I even eventually called the Sprint fraud department, and was told there were no flags set for any of my informations.

I am not sure how the initial block happened, but after investing way to much time, I ended up with 1 account, using just one line. Tough compared to the people with huge numbers.

I could still make money without the cashback, by re ferring the 2nd account, and $300, by calling, so that is still an option for other people in the same boat. I almost feel I should, just to make them pay for the frustrustration caused by problems with their system, but will not.
Did u try resetting ur modem/router to try changing the ip address in case they were tracking ..perhaps different computers still had same ip address on same modem..

Did u try different name and different dob when u tried different address?

Although it worked for him but i still think they do basic identity verification using the name and dob from public info.

Looks like the rewards system is acting up , I just submitted a rebate 5 lines in one submission, about 20 minutes later , I received 2 emails only showing 2 tracking numbers on each of the email. missing 3. Anyone have similar issue?
I did not receive even a single email.. But still got all tracking numbers after submission..

did you use bf cashback to sign up? if so, did it track?

also what did you say to the regular CS to have them make an account for you?
I didn't complete the purchase yet so not sure if cashback websites will track. I told CS I can't get past credit check to create account and if they can create an account for me. I tried signing up with mobile data (different IP) and it didn't work. Sprint is throwing error probably based on name, address etc. Only problem is none of us know and sprint claims they don't know why there is the error. I googled the problem and ppl with good credit, first time customers to sprint still got the error. I am not sure if I am getting the error because I was a sprint customer in 2019 then went to tmobile then to MINT. And I was a sprint customer on and off in the past. But I know a lot of ppl here that switch carriers a lot and didn't get the error.

I wasted so much time on this on and off today. Talked to so many sprint credit customer service rep that told me I had no flags, my previous accounts have been removed and my social # is now free and I past the credit application and I qualify for 5 lines. However, I was still getting error. Eventually I had a regular sprint CS agent create an account for me with new pin and secret question. With that info I can create a my sprint account (btw, I can't seem to use my past sprint username). Then I logged in to my sprint account. Searched for byod and went through the checkout process. Now I bypassed the credit check error during checkout and it is asking for my number to port in. But I noticed that there are no more mentions of the $300 prepaid mastercard in my cart checkout. I feel like I should still qualify for the $300 even though it doesn't mention in the checkout. But I stopped the checkout process and will make a trip tomorrow (4/9/20) to the corporate store to make sure I will get the $300. I still plan to order online for the cashback. I just want to double check that this deal and cashback is still valid on 4/9/20. At least that is what the sprint CS told me and I got a screenshot/transcript of it.
I was thinking about going a similar route, my 1yr FP account.

I also had a transcript of the deal, $300 rebate for each line brought in, but the deal for Unlimited Basic and Unlimited Plus weren't there.

Maybe yours is different because you are a new customer with no lines.

Maybe the flag is not based on individual information but a location such as an address if its a high density building with high crime rate etc. Couple that with other indicators, maybe some personal info and the score is high enough to flag.

I don't think they are blocking by IPs, but who knows.

I tried 2 different work/customer VPNs and I was still getting error yesterday.

In the end, a new address (friends address) worked using my home IP.

But Address is not a high crime area and is a house. Also never had a problem with my address in the past when I signed up for sprint...

Not what you want to here, but Sprint's blocked/flagged your info of every linked detail for 48/72 hours. It will clear and you can proceed again then.

All names, addresses, credit cards, SSN that you've tried to use are blocked now for this time out.

I think I heard a Sprint rep call this a 'velocity flag' or similar. There is no way to manually clear it. You have to wait it out.

Sorry, was just giving example. I think they build scores like credit scores but for risk.

Tello operates on the Sprint network. Tello numbers will not qualify for this promotion.
If you need numbers that can qualify, Google Voice is best option to create number, and port out for $3.

No. Just don't make too many bf account. Place two orders under the same bf account.

If you do two lines in one BF click will you get 2x$80 for BYOD or do you need to do all lines separate ?

did you ask why it didnt go through online when you called?
I did tell them it was for cashback, They told me there were no flags, so nothing could be fixed, and over the phone was the only way to complete the order.

Taking it a step farther, I logged in through a friends home, where IP would be quite different. I tried names of friends who gave their permission, so all different DOB. I never had a previous Sprint account, nor anyone at this address where I have lived for 35 years. Checked credit record, and no Sprint checks were listed, no flags in the report, with rating just slightly above 800. I would guess the rest of the homes in this neighbohood would be very similar.

Even though it does not explain how it started, it may show why it continues. I have never waited more than 24 hours, before trying something different. I guess it may be worth a try in a week, if they extend the program.

According to https://www.reddit.com/r/Sprint/c..._am_i_sol/ sprint uses sagestream and put more weight on your address and phone number. I been keep using a new number I am going to port so maybe that's it. I will try again tomorrow with an old number and see

Yes, single click-out from BF, then put all plans/phones in shopping cart, then checkout. You will get credit for everything in cart.
