Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Anyone had problems today with sprint sending text message and making you verify to check if you really own the porting number?

Some individual reported this just today or maybe yesterday.

Hang up and try a different rep or tell them you broke the old phone and cant receive the text.

Your address is flagged. Mine was flagged for the following reason:

The address being used was associated with a chargeback from Boost Mobile from years ago. Because of that those details were added to a negative list.

Treasury team reviewed and cleaned those records associated with the address.
I used my nephew name and address ordered Cricket without problem. Two week later order Sprint no go for him nor his wife. In my case not ip or address.

Could anyone please let me know how many digits I can set for Google voice pin number for porting out to Sprint? I remember someone said that it's 4 digits, but I tried and can set any digits, can I set 6 digits? or 4 digits is preferred for porting purposes? Thanks.
Why you want to set 6, when you want to set it just for porting i.e. for couple of hours. Isnt that easy to set 4 digit pin ?

Just set it to whatever you like. Sprint is expecting 6, but 4 will work. In the end some suspect Google doesn't even check the pin.

So its just a rep? Not a system requirement for all numbers?

So we use a "real" number to port for first line, that should help us setup the account and port the rest (line 2 thru 5) online?

If your numbers were previously on Sprint at any time, you're eligibility for this offer is not guaranteed per terms. Best course is to use numbers that did not originate at Sprint, like Google Voice.
Why do we keep preaching this? DO you know your google voice #, or ebay ATT # wasn't ever switched over to Sprint in the last 20+ years at some point, and then back, or similar. . .Sprint MVNO's included, etc. etc etc. Google didn't even have #'s 20 years ago, and most are new # banks, but not all. . .

I would think it's 45+ days out of sprint (for the number). And for the 5 for $100 it's DOB or SSN out of Sprint for 45+ days (for same type of account).

And I know you are being extra careful (and thanks for all your input here). . .but if your theory is correct it truly is a crapshoot!!!

Some people here did that route of setup 1 line on a call, then logged in and setup the other lines to get the BF c*shb*ck

Even the first line can be done online, then call to complete the port so you get BF cashback for all? : )

I set up 4 digit pin and it went smoothly for me. Infact, Sprint Rep just asked account number for GV number and it ported super quickly, however for ATT, I was kept on hold for 15mins
