Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Better check it early to see if you get any Invalid line items than 90 days later and need to fight sprint for it which means to stay with sprint for longer months if you don't want to risk the rebates, though you are only required 90 days active service, if you know you are not getting it, you can do 30 days satisfaction money back guarantee

Default pin for GV is last 4 digits of your phone number, which is your account number, unless you set up the pin for voicemail... the porting dept agent are used to ppl porting from GV due to this deal. Lol. If you tell the agent your number is from GV, they know everything needed for porting

Credit check account all 5 show missing channel code. No credit check account all 5 show missing channel code

This website also showed Verizon rebates approved but not the ones pending.

Also showed approved sprint ref rebates from 2017.

This is just for information purpose..on how the rebate status may look like if you receive your rebate.

This is what my rebate status looked like after I received my MC. The rebate was submitted back in July 2019. MC received in Nov after a lot of calls. This was on free BYOD plan.

This is what my rebate status looked like after I received my MC. The rebate was submitted 4th week of Jan 2020. MC rebate received mid-March. This was on a regular paid account with a different account owner.

So per this rebate status, "Invalid Reasons - Missing Channel Code" appears to be a DON"T CARE and should NOT result in a rebate rejection. As usual, YMMV.

We need someone who has not yet submit the rebates to report his status details once he receives a tracking number. Before he is able to find his tracking number record on sprint and before email confirmation for rebate.....@swammer @CalmMaid495

It would be an interesting data point (if we can get one) to see if there is any difference in current rebate status between a Credit Check acct vs a No Credit Check acct. The No Credit Check acct show the following 4 fields under Invalid Reasons. This appears to be Normal, at least we think it is Normal for now.

Missing Is Delinquent
Missing Account Sub Type
Missing Account Type
Missing Channel Code

What does the Credit Check acct rebate status show? Anyone?

Usual telecom scam. From day one of this thread others sent out the alert. Sprint has multiple techniques in place to rip back and invalidate this com-on offer. Some may get the offer but many will be disappointed.

The one they pulled on me:

1. complied with the offer on March 15

2. Sprint sent 4-1 sim kit which I paid for as part of the initial online BYOD offer confirmed by email.

3. Opened BYOD link prior to end of offer, proceeded with activation using the --Activation Code-- provided in the original order confirmation email which curiously did not appear in the instruction letter included with 4 in one sim kit.

Information recognized at BYOD activation page link including the phone IMEI.

4. A message displayed in red after entering the sim iccid indicating that the process could not continue: ["Invalid SerialNo and iccid"]

No onscreen instructions given on how to proceed. Per the letter with the kit used the option to call 866-437-1818 to "compete the port-in process on the phone"

5. What followed over two days of time wasting insanity: 17 calls, dropped calls, cold transfers, extensive hold times ( 2 hours 46 minutes on one call alone).

Then this!:
[ "No worry sir I'm going to redo your activation an port-in over the phone and you'll be good to go"]

I was wise enough to know that creating a new order on the phone on the 10th will wipe out the $300 offer causing me to ask.

["No worry sir I'll make sure you get the best promotion available today"] !!!!!!!

One problem encountered was agents telling me: "Can't access your account with your pin number" They should have asked for Activation Code instead which does grant them access to account but apparently they are trained trained to insist on the "pin".

6. Agent sends a pin re-set link that can't work because (i) don't have a user name or password and (ii) can't work because you have not ever created a user account and can not create one until after activation.

Too many numbers: two order numbers, one each for the service and one for the sim kit order, plus two confirmation numbers, plus enterprise order number, plus delivery order number, plus billing system order number, plus account number.

Good luck trying to get an agent to even open your account ( Must tell them to enter Activation Code to grant access but 9/10 times they just argue insisting on pin.)

Please ask yourself: "Is my time and sanity worth the remote chance of getting a gift card if this remote chance of 'reward' requires multiple days out of life plus double dose of blood pressure medicine?

T-mobile now owns Sprint. TMO has the worst reputation of all for lying, puling scams, over-selling available slots on cell towers for a particular community, time-wasting trouble shoot your phone as first requirement, lying, over-billing and not pushing through promised credits, lousy time-wasting deceitful customer service and practices in general. Not to mention poor call quality, sketchy coverage.

Granted, a tiny number of Sprint-TMO CSR's are well trained knowledgeable and genuinely interested in providing the best service however there is little they can do about carefully calculated fraud at the top.

My acct #1 is a Credit Check, submitted on 3/15/20, only shows Missing Channel Code. My acct #2, no credit check, submitted 3/24/20, shows those 4 missing pieces of info. But I think the fact that #1 was submitted 10 days earlier than #2 probably accounts for the "not missing" info. Plus, bill for acct #2 isn't paid yet which makes it Delinquent.

For me 4 lines shows exact same 4 missing things...

But 1 line shows only last Missing Channel Code.
