Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Pretty sure I did the rebate correctly but have the "invalid activation date" message for each line. Ported 5 lines, ordered 5 phones on 4/8. That's the date I input for the rebate. Should I resubmit for activation date (4/10)?
When you go to submit the rebates, the site asks for Purchase Date, not Activation Date. If you use 4/10 which is past 4/9 when the promo ended, it might disqualify your claim. I had one claim with Invalid Activation Date. I resubmitted it using the same date I used before and the Invalid Activation Date went away. See my post #7206. You might want to try the same thing. You'll know the next day or so what the result is.

What ways can the $300 master card be converted to cash ?
Some people reported that their banks cashed the GCs. More commonly, you can try buying money orders at Walmart and other places, then deposit the money orders at your bank.

I don't think you can use MC PP cards at Walmart to buy a MO … use the MC to buy a Visa PP card from a place like Staples. $200 card will have a $6.95 fee; sometimes they have sales on cards and waive the fee.

I just checked on the rebate status of my line 3 which was showing Invalid Activate Date on 4/10/20. On 4/11/20 I resubmitted it using THE SAME info used previously (Purchase Date, Line phone number). Today 4/12/20, the status looks more "normal", no more Invalid Activation Date. Some of the missing stuff should go away when its bill is paid. See attachment. A ray of hope.
@Yamaha Rick, if I'm not mistaken, some of your lines had Invalid Activation Date. You might want to resubmit them. Good Luck.

I have the same thing. You think its necessary to resubmit at this point? How long do you have to submit. I was thinking of giving it some time and maybe it will update on its own.

rebateshq.com has a chat feature (closed at the moment). I will try to get clarification on my situation tomorrow.

Someone here had used the Chat at rebateshq, was told that they only do the processing, and told to contact the Sprint dept that handles rebates.

Apparently venmo takes prepaid cards. [businessinsider.com] So one option is to add the card to your venmo account, send a payment to a family member's venmo account, and then have them send a payment back. Although there is a possibility that multiple transactions like this this would flag venmo's fraud prevention.

It's up to you. I decided to resubmit because I didn't think an Invalid Activation Date would correct on its own.

I signed up two accounts for this Sprint promo on 4/8 and 4/9, with 5 lines on each account. All 10 numbers had been ported in successfully on 4/9 and 4/10 respectively.

I am moving to a new home with a new address in a few days.

On Sprint's website, I will change the current/old address from the promo signup to the new address of the new house.

I am planning to use the new address for rebate claims.

Am I doing the right thing? Or for rebate claims, I should still use the soon-to-be-old address that I used to sign up for this Sprint promo.

Thanks in advance for any advice.
This is what I received from a Sprint chat rep.

" Please be advised that we need to change your address once you have moved in. It will be automatically change to the system with regard of your concern. Once the prepaid cards will be ready to shipped it will always refer to your address that was set in your account.?"

"Once you have successfully updated your address. It will be reflected automatically to your prepaid card information.?"

You can move the money from Venmo to a bank account. The description on the bank side is VENMO CASHOUT PPD ID:xxxxxxxxxx once the money is successfully transferred.

I believe I tried this with a TMo virtual card, and it didn't work. This was earlier this year.

Has anyone done this recently?

For T-Mobile Virtual Card, you just login to T-Mobile Virtual Card and hit transfer funds to Checking account, it's free.

I was able to do that for two of my four TMo cards. It was limit one card per bank account.

I would call the rebate company itself and double check. It's always good to double check.
