Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

I mean I have already activated on a mobile. So, I cant change to a new mobile now until I get my card?
You can, go online and activate new device. Just put in IMEI and iccid (sim) if asked.

I suspect that we won't see an Approved/Denied decision by Sprint until 90 days have passed since the line was activated (to see whether or not you maintained service for 90 days).

This is going to be a fight, kind of annoying

you have been reading the posts?..right?

i dont think anyone can guarantee you of anything at this point.

my advice: best is not to do anything that will jeopardize your $300.

others may disagree.

I just checked on the rebate status of my line 3 which was showing Invalid Activate Date on 4/10/20. On 4/11/20 I resubmitted it using THE SAME info used previously (Purchase Date, Line phone number). Today 4/12/20, the status looks more "normal", no more Invalid Activation Date. Some of the missing stuff should go away when its bill is paid. See attachment. A ray of hope.
@Yamaha Rick, if I'm not mistaken, some of your lines had Invalid Activation Date. You might want to resubmit them. Good Luck.
We resubmitted the rebate for the 5 lines again and few days later status for all lines on both the old and new rebates still show "Invalid Account".....any suggestions as to what to do next?

Once lines are active on sprint, do nothing to these lines. Strongly recommend not to do the following:
replace/upgrade phone or change phone number

Sprint isn't doing what they said. Lol. It seems that ppl need to activate by 4/9/20 for the $300 as well as the $10 line discount for u+...get ready to fight sprint for it
been on chat with them all morning. they have no idea about the $10 off per line. it's frustrating when my email order shows what it's supposed to be but I can't send it to them as proof

Yup, i even gave promo code to supervisor.

Only way he could verify is I gave another account and even his explanation didn't make sense. He said I should see additional discount in next bill, but my other account was billed correctly.

He compared both accounts and he said both are setup correctly.

Go figure!

Ppl have contacted sprint sales/promo team, and were told that sprint uses activation date of 4/9/20 being deadline to determine qualification for rebate. Sprint rebate contact 844-382-3312, call to see if they can anything, ask if they take resubmission by email or mail paper resubmission than online submission.
Reach rebate processor at 877-276-0853 if they offer email resubmission for the $300 promo. Rebate processor offers paper resubmission option with info below.

"Invalid Account" or "Invalid Activation Date" ? I don't think we've seen Invalid Account before.
I don't have any suggestion on what you should do next.

So now they are saying activation date had to be by the 9th and not the purchase date is as stated by them before?
So the rebates will be denied?

On my Sprint bill, I see a charge: Equipment - Software $2.99. What is this? I was already charged for the sim (3.18).

What is to be gained by submitting via email/snail mail vs online?
