Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

[quote="Genghis_Khan;136261904"]Well, just make sure you don't bring up the credit approval thingy. Good work so far

Would not dream of mentioning that or Slick Deals

Does anyone know if each new Sprint U+ account needs a matching name & own CU account for the LMCU $200?
For example, can I use my CU checking account for 1 LMCU $200 with my Sprint U+ account then use my CU savings account for another LMCU $200 with my son's Sprint U+ account?

@sprint requested for my phone number
I'm chatting right now about the unlimited plus not being the right amount but I don't think I'm going to get very far. I just wanted to do this before going up the ladder.

Are we fairly sure that we don't want to be changing the plan to unlimited basic because there's a chance that could invalidate the rebate somehow? I really don't care if it's unlimited basic or unlimited plus.

Don't change it. The chat people have no idea what we're talking about. They can only see what's on the plan and not what we signed up for. Check my previous post for info that might help #7489. Start there with chat, might get you somewhere

I just checked on one of my accounts with the "invalid activation" purchased before 9th activated on 10 and my 1st bill from Sprint is $175 total fot U+ instead of $100 + taxes...roughly $109

I called and talked to a supervisor and he compared another account that was billed correctly.

When I told him about the $10 discount per line, he didn't know what it was until I gave him my other account to compare!

It looked the same to him and gave me a $50 credit. He said to call back after the next bill if still not fixed.

I switched to sprint two weeks age and submitted rebates, everything good so far. Unfortunately I was trying to make international calls but international calling is disabled for new customers so I called customer service to enable it, they did and I was able to make a call but next day it was still blocked so I called again ad they fix it, and the same every other day and no one seems to know what was going on. so today I called again and they finally find out that " since February 2020 for new customers on no credit check line international calls are disabled for first 6 month " I wish I knew that before I switched to sprint! no information about that what so ever can't even add international calling add-on . The only solution that they offered if to switch to credit check line, but as far as the rep said it will change account ID, so if the ID is changed the account id will be invalid for rebate because its close. im waiting for rebate processing department to call me back regarding this issue but it takes time and no one seems to know what to do witch it, if the id changes I would have to resubmit the rebate but since rebate period ended on 04/09.20 it will be invalidated . Anyone have the same issue ?any suggestions ?

Yeah I thought about that but didn't feel comfortable pointing out the fact that I have multiple accounts.

I think any U+ account activated after 4/9 will have that same billing issue in addition to the rebate problem.

Agreed, but now how to fix those issues is the problem.
I was willing to wait 1 or 2 billing cycles to see if $300 rebate per line gets fixed at the $100 for 5 lines plan (since cashback would offset that) but not at $175 a month.

When I told him about the other account, I told him it was my son's. It had a slightly different first name.

That was just calling the regular 800 number.

the 2nd csr I talked to was with Customer Advocacy group, through twitter PM.

I don't think the 2nd knows that much either because he said credits sometimes takes a while, but my other accounts immediately had the credits applied. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt until I receive my 2nd bill.

The difference with my last account is I had devices that were activated after the promo date, the others were BYOD.
