Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

I just bought 4 AT&T numbers yesterday from re-lux to port-in to T-mo for their $200 GC deal. Quick delivery of the phone numbers and they all worked without problems.
That thread is not getting any love. I wonder why. Thats a MM too.

How long to keep the lines open for that?

You'll need to keep your Sprint accounts active for 3 months (more like 4) to get the $300 GCs anyway.
I know but upon checking my rebates, there is something missing. I will call sprint tomorrow if they could confirm the rebates were properly registered.

They will say it is processed and that everything is OK, even though on rebateshq it may say invalid activation.

If you try explaining to them about rebateshq, it'll just confuse them and they will transfer you to someone new. the run around pretty much

Terms state up to eight weeks for rebate to process. After taxes are factored in, and margin of additional month of service, that deal is closer to breakeven, than moneymaker. Still for actual service, it may be attractive—once people come off this deal. It's a square deal, not a slick deal. Sly

Exactly. Last week I chatted with CS and she was not aware about $300 promo :-(. She mentioned that due to Covid-19, entire chat support team is working from home and they are facing network issues. Finally she made adjustment on my bill for auto pay issue and reflected on my account immediately. Conveyed my thanks to her👍.

The problem is that when I register the rebate, the page didn't provide the option to choose the type of prepaid card. And I checked the rebateshq, it shows "missing reward type".

Like ReadySmile said, the T-mo deal is a good deal, but not a slickdeal like the Sprint deal. Due to T-mo pricing structure, you have to get 4 lines to get the cheapest per-line cost ($120/month for 4 lines, plus taxes & fees which appear to be higher than Sprint). It takes 6-8 weeks to get the GCs, I allow for 3 months of service. You also have to buy the SIMs from T-mo at $10/each plus sales tax. No refs, no c.b. The cash outlay is higher, but it's still a money maker, I decided to do it. I already have 4 unlocked GSM phones laying around, so no expense for the phones. See my attached spreadsheet.

It's a soft pull. I opened the account in my wife's name on Monday and there was no credit inquiry/alerts in her credit files.

Emailed Sprint Marci Carris yesterday and got an auto reply after an hour. Got an email today that they will look into my case and will let me know in 2 to 3 days. Email is about invalid activation date at rebateshq.

Did you check all 3 credit reports? Could be delay for a few days to show on credit report or when the service is activated
Edit:
Or have a previous relationship with T-Mobile before?
