Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Received a bill on March 18 for $127 ($100 plus fees, tax) as first bill and paid it
Received another bill few days ago for $132 ($100 plus fees, tax) with Bill Period: Mar 17 - Apr 16, 2020
Says full $132 is due. WTF is that? Why would I pay twice for 1 month of service?

Would it be better to just open a new CU account with the same name as on Sprint account....in which case can I resubmit or change the original submission?

IMO, You can send mail to [email protected] reg LMCU name concern and from her team some supervisor will contact to fix this issue. Remember they are very powerful compared to regular CS and they can bypass/suppress any validations.
Opening new CU account doesn't look good now. You will get one hard pull while opening new CU account and not sure about Sprint T&C regarding life period on that account. If they say, CU account should be greater than 6 months or etc, your case will be rejected again.
Don't lose hope. Some of our SDers, already contacted Marci and all were positive.

I opened CU account last week (4/15) in my name and submitted LMCU with my wife's CC account about 32 days after activation. The status website said approved after a few days (applied 4/21, approved 4/23). Now waiting for the $200 deposit. Last time I did LMCU in 2017 it was processed pretty quick.

If you are still worried about non-matching names, calling your CU to add the name of sprint account holder to CU to make it a joint account is better solution, After money received, remove name if you want.
if you contact them regarding mismatching name and sprint doesn't want to honor the LMCU since the account holder must have a LMCU account for this perk they will say: sorry, you don't have a LMCU account by then you can't get it, so adding name is more effective.
