Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

My fourth month with Sprint starts from Jun 23rd and the cash back from CB website is payable on Jun 27th. Assuming, I receive the 300$ card from sprint on Jun 22 and I cancel the line on June 23rd - will the cash back website still pay me the money or do I have to keep the sprint line active until the payable date?

I think he referred $50 card instead of $300. For $300, we need to wait for some more days.

anyone know a good place to port out line and keep it there in case there are no deals? Once this deal is over I'm planning to cancel two accounts

To end service from mobile carriers, I've always ported out numbers to numberbarn.com. $5 per line. The number is parked for 30 days, and available to be ported to your next carrier. You can pay a monthly fee ($2?) if you want to keep the number.

For me, paying $5 is worth not having to call and cancel service.

Anyone else getting the following invalid message on RebatesHQ?

Status Detail: Invalid
Invalid Reason = Your registration was denied because this is a port in promotion; an eligible port was not identified for the phone number registered.

I have this message on both my lines. Was ported from T-mobile.

Rick gave you a good answer in post #9067. I had a different idea but it didn't work out. Here's what I posted earlier today on the T-mo thread.
=======
I had planned to port my T-mo numbers to Boom Mobile/AT&T using their $5 30-day 450-unit trial SIMs (I bought a bunch of them), but apparent you can only get new numbers with those SIMs; you need their "regular" SIMs to port in.

So I had to call T-mo to cancel my service. The rep asked a few questions: "How was the service?", "Why didn't you want to stay?", "Why did you start the service?". I told her I wanted to try T-mo service due to the promotion, I was happy with their service and customer support, but since we don't use cell phone service much and I have no job (I'm retired ), their plans are more than what we really need. She went ahead and closed my account/service. They sure cut the cord quickly because she said my phones would stop working at the end of the call, and I no longer can log into my account to check its status.

Good option. Just now I tried for one of the active number and it says - This port may take 3 - 10 days. Does it take this much time for port in to numberbarn?. Based on that time frame, we may initiate port out before billing period starts.

Candidly speaking, it has been a while since I've ported to them, but I do believe it should only take a day or two for mobile numbers. It is land lines that are a PITA and take longer.

You can make partial payment with most carriers. There are people on the AT&T Deal thread who made multiple $20 payments with their Chase credit card to take advantage of Chase cash back rewards.
What is this Chase cash back rewards offer? TIA..

Sprint Referral- Rejection
Here is a strange case. My friend referred me in 2017 and I registered then for the deal and that account was closed in 2018.
This deal referred by same person and used same email address. Registration successful in 2020

They rejected my $50 and all my referrals and gave me reason that the number associated with my 2017 account is no longer active..

I'm getting this: "Your registration was denied because the phone number you registered was not activated during the offer period.", even though a rep told me I can activate the phone I purchase within 30 days as long as I make the purchase before April 10th.

What I saw in my order was that the SIM must be activated within 10 days of purchase. Although some people activated within 10 days but was after April 9 and got denied.
