Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

1. Informed Delivery e mail from USPS at 0721 hrs this morning showed I was getting three rebate cards. Good, as I can use them at Staples tonight to buy fee free Visa gcs.
2. Actually only received two of three … I'll give it till Monday for a resolution.
3. After call yesterday, according to Sprint website, one of my rebates went from pending to Denied! (Invalid sales channel) So from now on, I will find it hard to believe what the CS folks tell me on the phone.
Looks like I'll be spending more time on the phone today.
I've been using the 844 number as seen on the rebateshq.com site. Is there a better number I should be using??
Anyway I want to get a new phone, but my 90 days aren't up until the 21st. Can I still get a new phone that I own outright, switch the sim, and still maintain eligibility for the gc?

Below is the status of my Line 1, activated on 3/13. The status changed to Invalid/Denied after the final decision was made on 6/13. I've called Sprint about it and the agent said she approved and expedited the card. But I don't see an Approved status yet.
Approved: valid and final processing
Fulfilled: valid and up to 30 days —this is the card sent
Denied/Invalid: ineligible sales location
"At Wal-mart, for some reason, when you swipe Mastercard gift cards it defaults to "credit" before giving you the option to put in a PIN, and the liquidation transaction (buy Money order, load Serve etc) gets declined since you need to be using debit with a PIN for those. The workaround is to hit the "cancel" button on the screen right after you swipe, then it lets you select debit and then put in a PIN. But the cancel button is only on the screen for a second or so, so you need to be quick about it."
I have loaded my BB with MCGC from Staples and I didn't have any issues. As I mentioned before, it never asks for PIN for MCGC. I looked at past transaction details at mcgift.giftcardmall.com. The transaction remains in pending state for a day or so and then gets posted. So the transaction is more like credit than debit. When I use MCGC at S&S and use PIN, the transaction is posted immediately as expected. So indeed Walmart is treating these MCGC cards as credit bcoz the posting is not immediate. But somehow it works for loading BB. Purchasing MO maybe different and need to use Fast Finger as mentioned above.
