Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Read his wording "Called rebateshq #". I thought he meant he called RHQ. If he called the number on the rebate status, then it is Sprint Promo Dept number.
I think he meant the number he saw on rebateshq in error status text Smilie

DP:
Ported from FreedomPop (AT&T network), activated first Kickstart line on 3/15, registered 3/18. Phone was from Google Fi + free sim card from Sprint corporate store.

Today tracking status changed to "Denied, sales location is not eligible" for both RHQ and Sprint Reward Center. Called 844.450.7865, agent said that the rebate is still pending, even though the status shows denied. He then manually processed it and said that I should expect the card by June 29. Status still shows denied.

Have a second Kickstart line maturing in a few days, will see how things work with that one.

Even after contacting the rebateshq on last Friday, who told that they have validated my rebate, the status of both of lines are still showing denied.
I think sprint will try to deny the $300 rebate for everyone and will potentially face a BBB Lawsuit.

I got the denied status on Sat 6/13 (registered on 3/15). Talked to a rep at noon 6/13, she said she fixed the status and expect the card by July 1st. Status on Sprint and RHQ haven't changed as on 11:30am Mon 6/15. If they don't change by tomorrow morning, I'll call again.

Buy money orders, then deposit the m.o. to your bank account.

Ugh didn't have enough coffee. I meant liquidate virtual** gift cards, not visa. English is not my first language.

I guess I can do that, or prepay bills and stuff, but would much rather it as liquid $$ in my bank. Cash is king.

Paypal is the way with about 3% fees. At least you would be able to spend it the way you want to and get a much better return than 3%.

Update regarding my status denied:

Invalid reason on RebatesHQ showing: Your registration has hit a speedbump, please call us at 844-450-7865, Mon-Sat 8am-9pm Central. Missing Is Delinquent Your registration was denied because this is a port in promotion; an eligible port was not identified for the phone number registered.

I called the 844 number and spoke to the rep. He said the error is due to the system still being updated, but that I am still on track to receiving my virtual $300 gift card in 13-15 weeks. The rep estimated the payout will be around 7/10/2020. My Sprint line was activated around 3/24/2020 FWIW so 15 weeks from that date would be 7/7, not 7/10 but we'll see. Hopefully it'll be before the 4th bill which is 7/16.

I ported in from Google Voice and have a status of "Denied, sales location is not eligible". When I called in, the rep said "Bandwidth.com" (which is the name of the provider for Google Voice numbers) is not an eligible provider (hence sales location) from where numbers could be ported in. Just like everyone else's experience, the rep processed the rebate and said I should receive the cards by the end of this month.

So, whoever ported from GV might get automatically denied on day 91 after activation and may need to call and get it resolved.

If your line was activated around 3/24, then the 4th service period starts around 6/24. Even though the bill isn't created until 7/16, you're already into the 4th month after 6/24. Can't avoid paying that 4th bill.

Seems like EVERYONE gets denied automatically for the same "ineligible sales location". I haven't seen a post from anyone who got approved without intervention.
