Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Are your 90days completing in July?
Are your 90days completing in July?
TIA.
subject Your Sprint Virtual Reward
Sprint site shows pending (instead of invalid) - Your registration is valid and is scheduled for final processing. Your card will be delivered within the next 10 business days.
RHQ site - Your rebate is valid and is scheduled for final processing.
As a refresher...
My 90th day based on activation (not rebate submission) was yesterday. That's when I got the rebate emails, the same emails that I received when I submitted the rebates initially. Based on data points from others, this was expected.
Prior to yesterday, the status on Sprint site was Pending and on RHQ site was - Your rebate has been entered and scheduled for final processing.
I had called on June 6th for status on the rebates, the lady removed the speedbump without me mentioning it at all. It seems, in hindsight, removing speedbump didn't really set for clear sailing ahead.
I called Sprint Promo dept yesterday right after they opened around 9.15am EDT. The lady reviewed the acct and checked the status on the rebates. She said she would escalate this to support folks and that I would get rebates by July 3. I asked her when would the status be updated. She said don't worry about status. They won't be updated. So after this conversation I didn't have much trust in what she said.
I called again yesterday afternoon around 4pm EDT. Similar type of conversation. Reviewed the acct and the status. She noticed the escalation the previous rep had requested and confirmed that to me. She said the status would be updated within 24 to 48 hours.
I called again today around noon EDT. Similar type of conversation as previous two. This time I asked to reach out to the support team and find out what is going on. I told her I will stay on the call as long as needed and that she doesn't need to check every 3 minutes to tell me that she is still working on it. After 10 minutes or so, she told me the rebates have been approved at the backend and that the status would be updated within 72 hours from yesterday when the escalation was requested.
I checked the status at 8pm EDT and it was still invalid. At 9pm EDT, it was showing pending. So about 36 hours from the escalation time. YMMV.
Today is the 90th day from rebate submission (and 91st from activation day).
No credit check acct.
@hpham_53 keep calling them 2 to 3 times a day. Someone will escalate it correctly and get it fixed. Good luck!!!

* Sat 6/13 morning: this rep sounded friendly and helpful. She said my rebate should've been approved, so she escalated it, told me to expect a status change in 2 days, and the GC around July 1st.
* Tuesday 6/16 morning: the rep was trying to check my status but the Sprint promo site was down, so he told me to call back later.
* Tuesday 6/16 afternoon: this rep was the worst, told me my line 1 doesn't qualify because I had received referral cards for it, he refused to escalate the claim. When I protested, he went to talk to someone, then came back and set a time to call me at 9AM Wednesday with some new info. He never called.
* Wednesday 6/17 afternoon: this rep sounded helpful also. He said he would escalate the case and forward it to the "card provider". He said to expect an email with a new tracking number (sounds strange), a status change in 24 hrs, and the GC around July 1st (same thing the first rep said).
I plan to call every other day (to give the status a chance to get updated) until I actually see the status changed to Valid.

Just keep calling couple a times a day. Ask them that you want to talk to a supervisor, etc.
I truly hope you get this rebate sorted out. You are one of the few people who signed up right at the beginning of the promo and has helped most people in this thread. I would be quite upset and sad if they keep giving you hard time. You still have two more lines to deal with. Hang in there and keep pressing the buttons. Best of luck. I fought with them last year for over two months for my rebate. Eventually, I got the rebate.
I wonder how they are handling the folks who already had existing accts and added new lines for this promo. For the folks with new accts/lines, their assumption is that these are mostly fly by night crowd and will flee as soon as the rebates come through. They may not want to treat their existing customers with the same brush otherwise risk losing their existing lines as well.
Is the new promo just for one free line or more than one free line? Thx.

Even if they did not do credit check still they gave us credit approval of 5 lines with $100 each spending limit...
Makes sense?
