Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

My line 1 was activated on 3/13, submitted 3/15, denied on 6/13. Two of the 4 reps I talked to which told me they would escalate the claim both gave July 1st as the target date to receive the $300 card. July 1st is the 13th business day from 6/13, when the final decision was made. I won't be sitting still waiting for the card to come on July 1st. I'll keep calling every other day until I see a status change. The card will NOT be sent until the status is changed from Invalid/Denied to Valid.
Good news on my end! Both $300 are now showing this:
Status : Pending
Your registration is valid and is scheduled for final processing. Your card will be delivered within the next 10 business days.

Both are still under the same tracking numbers, so the agent was wrong in saying it would be different. Yay, can't wait for me two $300 gift cards.
For those wondering: Called yesterday, and got this change today. Also did not do referrals.

no they mean when you get the $300 gc email you have to register/activate on myprepaidcenter. The first step is to choose virtual card or physical card (costs extra)

that makes more sense.

rebateshq also issued verizon promo cards. i was able to get cash advance at banks for those $250 cards.
someone should check if it's possible with these as well.

where did you see that it costs extra? I don't remember seeing that there is an additional cost for physical card

I think that might be an option for those that picked virtual cards at initial rebate registration. I've received three of my five $300 cards, as well as six $50 referral cards, all at full value - no OOP cost due to my choice of physical over virtual.

During the claim-filing process, at the screen below you choose Virtual Card or Physical Card. No extra cost AT THAT POINT to select physical card. I think the extra cost is if later you change your mind from a Virtual Card and want a Physical Card instead. That creates more work for them to void the Virtual Card and create a Physical Card.

When I clicked the link from the email and it gave me the option for virtual or physical it said physical was $2.95. Probably because I was sent virtual cards and never had the choice to specify otherwise beforehand. Changing it costs $2.95.

Never saw that screen. They simply sent me virtual cards without offering the choice. I didn't select virtual all those months ago either that I recall. When you click the link to claim them they give you a choice but it says $2.95 for a physical. I guess because they already issued the virtual ones. Maybe the agent who manually approved it just went ahead and sent me virtual ones. No big deal to me.

I must enjoy pain. Thinking of extending Sprint service to take advantage of Costco $500 rebate offer on XS phone.

https://slickdeals.net/f/14140172-costco-warehouse-purchase-iphone-xs-64gb-sprint-for-600-get-500-back-via-costco-shop-card

Still crunching numbers at the moment. Dare I?

[added] With five phones, four months extra service, I ~might~ clear $900-1000.

I will check with Costco in the morning to see what the inventory situation is.

When that screen came up during the submitting process, the default was set to virtual card. Maybe you didn't notice it and just clicked on Continue. Just my guess.

Did you get the invalid status already? When did you activate?
No, I haven't yet gotten my cards. Out of 5, 3 rebates were flagged invalid and the other two had a different error. The lady I spoke to confirmed that I fulfilled all terms/conditions or the rebate and it should be valid. She escalated my claim as an internal re-submission and indicated that I would be getting the cards by the 3rd week of July
