Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

With the physical cards I've received so far, I've never received an email telling me they were on the way. I think folks getting messages now are in regard to virtual cards, which are (apparently) being delivered via email.
Thanks that's reasonable. I remember choosing physical card when submitting this promo registration. I guess for physical card receivers we just need to wait to receive the card in mailbox, no emails or shipping information or shipping tracking#.

I don't have the comparison since all my lines with 'valid' status were registered for physical cards. Maybe others with virtual cards can help provide some DPs.

Yeah i hope somebody who got virtual messages can reply to my questions...
The wait to get GCs is frustrating when 4 months bills are already on stake..

could you please check if the physical card allows cash advance from bank teller? it worked for me at Chase on verizon rebates through rebateshq.

I wish it'd work that way for my line 1. Got Denied/Invalid exactly a week ago. I've called them 4 times and got promised the case would be escalated/approved. No change at all, still shown Invalid/Denied at Sprint and RHQ.

I'm starting to think that the reps could only escalate the claim but the power-that-be denies it because I got referrer's cards for that line. But other people who got referrer's cards got their $300 GCs too. Sprint must hate me, and the feeling is mutual.

The cards are issued by MetaBank. I am not aware of a direct "cash out" option.

I used the cards at Staples to buy Visa cash cards, which in turn were used to buy a MO at WM.

You couldn't just buy the MO from WM with the cards you had?

I believe hpham used them directly at a grocery store to buy a MO. Around here, Kroger no longer allows that.

I had issues using a MC GC directly at WM once before. If I have a Visa GC in hand, I know there will not be a problem using them at (my) WM.

YMMV.

Yes, I used six $50 Sprint referral cards to buy a $300 MO at my Dillons (Krogers) store without problem. The clerk said they have to be Debit Cards (which is stated on the Sprint cards) and I have the PINs for them.

I have eight $50 Sprint referral cards coming to my wife, one $300 GC from Sprint and four $250 VISA Cards from AT&T coming to me. I'll buy MOs at Dillons with them.
