Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Got the invalid, location wasn't participating status on 6/22, I purchased online 90 days ago.
I spent like 2 hours with twitter support because they took so long at each step and they said they escalated it to the promotions team.
Today 6/24 my status was changed back to pending, rebates hq says valid and awaiting final processing. Pretty sure it changed back on its own anyway and not from support😓

Mine changed today in less than 10 hours. It was invalid this morning. It changed back to Pending later in the afternoon without calling. It hits 90 days this morning.
