Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Probably not the case for those who also participated $100 Amazon promotion
I've also been denied for this offer that came out after the $300 one: Get $50 for each number you bring (up to 2). Select new and existing customers porting a new line of service are eligible for a $50 Prepaid Mastercard. (Valid 1/10/20-7/16/20)

Status Detail: Invalid.
Invalid Reasons: your Sprint phone number does not qualify for this offer.

Not sure if I should call or wait

What does Sprint consider a "business day"? My cards were shipped on 06/18 but nothing yet. Informed Delivery shows nothing on the way. Actually, no mail is on the way...even junk mail

You should call. This is not the error people are seeing when their invalid status changes back to pending (valid) after 1-3 days. This is different. You should call right away and get it corrected.

Got my virtual cards today. What is the consensus best way to switch to cash?

I have seen mentions of Venmo/PayPal but they appear to charge fees for use of a credit card.

Same here. My line3 was activated and submitted on 3/27, but on 4/11 it showed invalid activation date, so I resubmit the claim (got assigned a different tracking number). The 3/27 claim had been sitting at Invalid for along time but last week got resurrected by Sprint and approved. The 4/11 claim is still waiting to be adjudicated around 7/11, but unfortunately that will get into another month of service. So I'll give up on it, which I'm not really entitled to it anyway.

byod 1 year free is all done, ends 6/30. this is a new offer. the line is equivalent to a kickstart line but all you pay is tax.

yeah, that's what I meant. I thought it was something different and the line can stand alone.

Looks like I have to keep the original line & account.

I don't see the offer banner in either of my 2 accounts (Kickstart lines). The "one free line" offer that I saw recently requires keeping the existing paying lines. No thanks.

yeah, original line intact for a year. am thinking of doing this on SWAC. The free offer was originally targeted for accounts paying $65 and up per month. just yesterday they moved it to SWAC and Kickstart.
thinking of doing this on my SWAC and leasing their S10+, $0 per month for 18 months. don't need this phone but heck, if it's free....
ummmmmmm have never leased a phone before but from the looks of it....i'll stay with Sprint forever anyways. lol

edited: never mind. got too excited. you can't lease a phone when doing this free line.

yeah you can't touch your existing lines for a year. so you have to move, finnagle or whatever you wanna do with your lines first before adding this free line.
