Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

yeah you can't touch your existing lines for a year. so you have to move, finnagle or whatever you wanna do with your lines first before adding this free line.
I'd like to remove some lines before adding the free line, but I've read where they monitor that as well.

lol. my reasons for registering twice was in good faith.

BTW......BREAKING NEWS!!!
SWAC and KICKSTART accounts, go to your online accounts and check if you see the banner ad saying you are eligible for the free line for life!!! Miracles Happen!!!

or better yet, everyone who wants that free line for life, check your online accounts and see if you see that banner, you'll never know. Y'all can thank me later....!!!!
I have a Sprint account with no lines. Is it too late to add a kickstart line to qualify for free line?

Just received my$300! For reference in the beginning I was not a "new" Sprint customer (ported out of sprint to mint mobile and ported back in the same week) and I didn't think I would qualify for the promo, but I eventually got it! What a nice surprise to wake up to Smilie

Now that I'm 2 days into my 4th billing cycle, if I port out now, will I still have to pay the full bill? Haven't received the bill statement yet.

yeah, original line intact for a year. am thinking of doing this on SWAC. The free offer was originally targeted for accounts paying $65 and up per month. just yesterday they moved it to SWAC and Kickstart.
thinking of doing this on my SWAC and leasing their S10+, $0 per month for 18 months. don't need this phone but heck, if it's free....
ummmmmmm have never leased a phone before but from the looks of it....i'll stay with Sprint forever anyways. lol

edited: never mind. got too excited. you can't lease a phone when doing this free line.
Uggh, got excited about leasing a phone too until I read your edit. 🤦 ♂️

I've received the card now. Can I just leave Sprint immediately now? I am looking to get onboard with ATT 250.

Specifically targeted existing Sprint customers who have received an invitation and who:
Joined Sprint prior to 6/17/2020.
Have an eligible plan.
Have at least one active voice line.
Are eligible to add a line of service on their account.

Before you cancel and leave, make sure you're not into a new billing period, even if the bill is not generated yet. The bill is generated about 4-5 days into a billing period.

Question: For anyone who has gotten auto-approved, were you a REFEREE? Asking because my 2nd Account (wife) was referred by the first (me) and wondering if anyone is having issues around being referred still.

Good News:
Account 1 auto-approved for the $300 this morning. Looks like Sprint may have fixed their issues finally.
3/23 - Ordered
3/25 - Activated
??? - Received $50 Referrer card
6/22 - Claimed BF $125 + $10 Sign Up Bonus
6/25 - Received $300 Sprint virtual GC. Did not have to contact Sprint. Auto-Approved. Had the "Missing Is Delinquent" message on RHQ prior.

$300 Outstanding:
Account 2
3/25 - Ordered
3/27 - Activated
??? - Received $50 Referee card
6/25 - Claimed BF $125
STILL WAITING - $300 Sprint virtual GC

Yep, once you're into a new billing period, you're obligated to pay the bill in full, even if the bill isn't generated yet. From reading Sprint web site, they don't do prorate or partial refund.

FWIW, I read T-mo's Q&A by their reps and they say they don't prorate the final bill. However, I cancelled my T-mo lines on June 2nd with the billing period ending on June 15th and the final bill shows a credit of $23.41 (full month is $79 with taxes and fees) which they say will be sent via a debit card.

After receiving the digital cards is there any risk to going ahead and porting out as far them canceling/clawing back? Still trying to figure out how to liquidate the cards but ready to move on.

Good deal. Some people got the cb denied by tcb and bf for no apparent reasons. The cb sites blamed it on Sprint.
