Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

But the card can only be used for Verizon services/items, plus they will "claw back" if you cancel before 6 months.

Finally, for everyone who is interested in the credo offers

There was an offer code XXCP for $300 prepaid Visa card but it seems like expired. Looking like they are replacing the $300 offer to $200 offer but forget to retire the $300 code? Because now they limit 1 card per account on the $200 offer...

Offer Code: 300VISA

**$300 CREDO Visa® Prepaid Card ships separately from device shipment, 30 days after new customer signup and requires an active account and payment of first bill. Offer available while supplies last. Cards are issued by MetaBank®, Member FDIC, pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. This card can be used everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted within the U.S. only. No ATM or cash access. This optional offer is not a MetaBank or Visa product or service nor does MetaBank or Visa endorse this offer.

Offer Code: XXCJ

**Limit one per account. $200 CREDO Visa® Prepaid Card ships separately from device shipment, 30 days after new customer signup and requires an active account and payment of first bill.

Edit: the lowest monthly cost is $43 for 1 line only. They issue card after 1 month of service so probably it is a 2 months commitment. They charge taxes and fees for plans.

Can we buy device from verizon?
I think lines can be suspended after we receive gift cards and avoid clawback... plus bfrgl will give 115 per line...
There is also 300 offer, not sure which one is better

I don't know. You'll need to read the terms in various Verizon BYOD threads.

I made a referral from the Free BYOD account for a new account with this $300 BYOD plan, the referree go their $50, but I did not (I got an email that said it is approved though). Now Sprint says Free BYOD account isn't eligible to receive outgoing referral rewards. Is that known to be true?
