Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

As a warning if you are planning on porting out to H2O, be prepared to lose your # forever. I ported from Sprint to H2O (completed in minutes) and then tried to port out of H2O to Visible and they are holding up the number. Already filed an FCC complaint as they are keeping my number hostage.
Not an issue for me too, this was known fact that I am doing this to burn my numbers by just spending $1 per line

Also many people posted that Sprint didn't cancel service even after 2-3 months of cancellation request and regular follow ups

Why didn't you port from sprint to visible directly? You need to recharge your h2o account for $10 to make it active for port out...

I was originally planning on letting my # die by porting to h2o. But after 3 days of being on h2o, I decided I wanted to hop on the Visible $100 GC deal instead.

Noted on the $10 recharge... My h2o balance was $0. With that being said, I don't understand why they require a positive balance to port out. I was with T-Mobile Prepaid that let me port out with a $0 balance after it was inactive for a long time (~30-90 days) when I was traveling abroad.

I'll just go ahead and pay the $3 to unlock a Google Voice number for the Visible port-in offer (and save $7) than deal with H2o's port mess.

I received my final $300 rebate card today; I already purchased (2X) fee-free $200 VGCs at Staples and drove straight to WM to get a MO. In a few days, I'll get the $15 (5%) credit on the card, and add that to my Amazon GC fund.

About a week ago, I purchased five iPhone 8 64GB from Sprint at $99 each. Used, of course, but all five were in good physical condition.

Separately, I ported my primary cell # from VZW PP to Metro By TMo (PP). I am paying $60/mon, but that includes Amazon Prime ($10/mon). Effectively, it was $5/mon more than VZW PP. But it included a free phone, the Moto G Stylus (which I like very much). I am happy with the service, so that opened a new option to close out my Sprint account.

TMo is offering "free (after credits)" iPhone 11s. They also have a plan with two lines for $55 (for the 55+ crowd).

I signed up for two lines, and bought an 11 phone for each. I will go ahead and pay off the phones in full. The credits I will receive for the phone purchase will cover my monthly bill for 24 months. I can sell the phones to cover most of my OOP cost.

Effectively, I'll have free phone service for two lines for two years.

The offer required a port-in from a "qualified" carrier. And yes, I verified that Sprint was one before going forward.

I ported over two of my five Sprint numbers. About a week after the port is complete, I will port my "real" number from Metro, as well as a second number from a different account.

I will port the last three numbers using Number Barn ($5 x 3).

So between this thread's offer and my "free" iPhones, I have received about $3800 in cash or services.

Thanks to all that have aided me in this journey!
Nice haul!

Its normal..it will change to payable after 12am in night..

But whag tmobile did and to which national retailers?
Finally got it cashed everything out. I'm happy to say I've been paid out all 5 lines added via be frugal and top cash back, 2 MCGCs in hand and 3 more changed to approved today no intervention needed on any of them and no calls. I'm sad to see Sprint go, T-Mobile will kill all National retailer (Best Buy, sams club, Walmart, etc) Big GC deals for Sprint once the brand is sunset. We will have nowhere to go except shitty T-Mobile reverse 2 year contract bill credits scams at their corp store/dealers

If it now just says "verified" then it will change to "payable" on the 8th

Searched the thread but didnt seem to be able to find an answer. How long did it take for everyone to get their walgreens GC? Submitted and got qualified email on 5/11, but haven't heard anything since. Note I did the AA promo and received those miles. Also got denied for CU offer.
