I think you should go into an office depot and try them all out. My opinion when i sat in all of them was that they were all good and similar to me except the 12000. The 12000 was definitely better than all the others for me and was amazing. 1000, 4000, and 9000 were more similar in comfort and support and 12000 was definitely a cut above in comfort and support. Just my subjective opinion

One of the chairs I use is the high back version of this chair with a headrest. It's a comfortable chair that has held up perfectly for 5-ish years so far and I got it for a steal, I'd recommend it as a great alternative to the Herman Miller's and other name brand office furniture. However, it looks like at Lenovo they are selling it for about 150 more than this mid-back version ($375) so not the best sale at the moment. That being said, I would not buy a mid back chair personally, and would very much recommend paying more or waiting for high back with headrest. In the long run it's a very worthwhile investment in my book.

nvm Mad this sight is a web tracker nightmare to visit properly.

also the photos of the seat change from mesh to cushion
so i'd call to confirm what you are getting before ordering.

It's a big brand computer company ::shrugs:: I bought because I needed the chairs now and the price was right. I'm fine with either the mesh or the fabric but the one I sat on in Office Depot was mesh so I'm assuming that's what I'm ending up with. The pictures all depict mesh except the 4th one which has a 2nd unidentified and different chair in the pic so if that's what you're referring to I'm guessing you can disregard it.
