[EXPIRED] Verizon Wireless: iPhone Xs Max $800-$950 Off with New line, Trade in, and Unlimited (24 month Bill credit)

+1 Deal Score
33,410 Views
I know we all hate bill credits, trade ins, and new line requirements, but this seems pretty good for people who are porting in to Verizon from another carrier.

For the best value:
1. Get a new line on start unlimited plan
2. $300 via 24 months bill credit
3. $350 via 24 months bill credit (iPhone 6 Trade in or similar)
4. $150 Master card redeem.

Net cost after 2 years: $200 for iPhone Xs Max 64GB.

For example if you port in 4 lines to Start Unlimited plan and trade-in iPhone 6, net cost with 4 iPhone Xs Max are about:
($8.33 X 4) + ($35 X 4) = $173 plus tax per month.

After 2 years, net cost for 4 lines with 4 iPhone Xs Max is only $4152 plus tax

https://www.verizonwireless.com/s...sku3180117

Save $300.
- Add iPhone XS Max as a new smartphone line of service with monthly device payments or at full retail price to your cart.
- Get $300 credited to your account over 24 months.

Plus, get a $150 Prepaid Mastercard when you switch to Verizon on Unlimited.
- Add iPhone XS Max smartphone with monthly device payments to your cart, then activate on a new smartphone line of service with Verizon Unlimited.
- After checkout, visit vzw.com/digitalrebatecenter. Enter promo code LEAP150 and the other necessary information when prompted.
- Receive your prepaid Mastercard within 8 weeks.

And save up to another $500 with select trade-in when you switch.

What's the cost for trading in a 6s with only one line?

Cot darn their unlimited plans are high for single lines. If only we could change to lower plan after a while.

I guess if you wanted to finance a phone and be locked for 24 months with 2gbs data, but those plan prices suck. Adding the trade and discounts plus the $150 PP card and their smallest data plan ends up being almost 2 grand over time - versus buying the phone outright and using their prepaid 6gb plan for 2 years at pretty much the same total outlying cost.

Really not a deal here.

Perhaps you need to learn how to read first. This deal only works with Unlimited plans. Yes they get de-prioritized, but not as much as those MVNO carriers do.
I agree this is not the greatest for the single line, but if 4 people port in to Verizon with 4 iPhone 6, net cost is around $4000 plus tax with 4 iPhone Xs Max and Postpaid VZW service for 2 years.

Verizon always comes with such crappy deals.... it's an old phone they want to push for their costly unlimited plan. Had it been the new 11 or 11 pro, it would have been a luke-warm deal at the most.

Purchase an iPhone 6s on eBay for like $100 , and you get 3.5 times the value ... not too bad.

For an iPhone that's hardly old. It's 1 generation behind.

It just says new line right? Is port in a new number a must?

Time to vent. I don't have a problem with credit/trade-in deals. However, I'll never deal with Verizon's sheer incompetence in honoring its promos. We switched to Verizon and bought iPhones that qualified us for a few promos. Silly me thought the credit will get applied to our account automatically, and we'll get our gift cards in mail. I ended having to be on the phone for more than 15 calls each lasting between 60 to 90 minutes for Verizon to finally deliver on all their promises. When calling their CS, after explaining everything from scratch EVERY time, I randomly received responses anywhere between "What? what promo? I'm pretty sure there was no such promo" and "Oh my god you're right I don't know who dropped the ball but I'm creating a ticket here and everything will be taken care of in 2-3 business days". It was so bad that it was almost comical. I'm never dealing with their shit again after my contract is done.

I'm pretty sure port in is required for the trade-in promo.

So the deal is even worse than I thought. No wonder it's not getting much traction - it's a true slug of a promo. Shame since you put so much time and efforts into it and keep babysitting the thread.

As long as some people are happy about this deal, I'm good, as I saved so much money from this community.

Gift cards typically involve you proactively submitting like most all rebates and don't happen automatically. Bill credits should be automatic. Never had a problem with Verizon gift cards/rebates when I read the terms and followed directions.
