Decent laptop but deal seems similar to what I have seen over the past few weeks.
Nice machine, but tough to say if it's as good a deal as the other ones recently. I'd prefer $1000-1100 with these specs. It's also the older R1 chassis.
a spinning drive? no clue but XPS15's and most laptops like this have a second pcie slot available to use.
Thanks yeah I was thinking 512 m.2 is great for OS and games etc but I like a regular cheap spinning drive for file storage, or games that I don't care about loading times haha
Avoid Dell. Even under warranty their customer service is brutal to deal with. We have them at work and the turnover time for broken machine to getting it back is over a month. We end up using our personal computers when Dell hardware crashes

My laptop was shipped and got back within 10 business days.

M15 r1 has spots for 2 m.2 drives and 1 2.5" drive (with the smaller battery; you lose the 2.5" spot with the larger battery).
Thank you!

Similar specs - the Alienware is NOT touch screen, but is also $200 less.
