I have a bright living room with an abundance of sunlight.
If you are willing to spend a little more and maybe wait for it to drop in price, i suggest the Q80....it is unbelievable how well it does in bright rooms.

You are right....but personally i think that the difference between the 82 and 85 is not that noticeable....75 to 82, you can definitely tell.
I know but I kinda figured to go with the biggest screen when u spend this much $$ anyway...
Ofcourse the price difference between 82 and 85 is like 15- 20% which is steep..

The real dilemma I had was Q70 vs 900f.....
I think they are both excellent TVs personally and for the price I'd go with he Q70. the 2499 is cheaper than the Samsung EPP page.

If i recall....wasn't it $2800 last week? Personally i think the 400 dollar difference between the Q80 and Q70 is worth it
The only time the 82" Q80 hit $2800 was for 2019 Black Friday and sold out in hours.
The deal 2 weeks ago was $2900+$200 tax. This 85" Q70 at $2450 and no tax. So even if that deal was still available, it would be $650 more expensive than this.

Again, not a little more, even with a good deal.
You are right. I didn't realize this included tax.

My only concern with 900 was it being an older model...
