I did some research to try and discern the difference between the men's and women's styles. They seem to have the same dimensions and overall look so I went to Eagle Creek's website and dug through some of there "women's fit" styles and this is the note I kept coming across: "Women's specific fit features padded, ergonomically shaped shoulder straps with adjustable sternum strap, safety whistle and padded back panel."

Thanks! Looks like a nice backpack. Combined with the free shipping (which is usually $50 or more), I found a good use for my $40 of gift cards. With tax, I paid a dollar out of pocket.

Excellent bag. Materials and stitching are very good quality. Ive had mine for over a year now and its held up very well over many trips. Did i mention that its very comfortable. 20l is great for small things and used for a day/weekend bag. 30l would be better as an all around bag.

Free shipping until March 27. Wonder how this compares to the REI rucksack 18L I recently purchased and used successfully on a couple hikes in Big Bend. It's half the price, so something for me to consider

20L usually refers to the capacity/size of the pack. I occasionally use a 20L when working and I like the compactness but still have room for a basic laptop and tablet.
