So the 2020 80T is WORSE than Q80 2019 model? That's messed up,

q60t is 60 hz, q70t is no longer full array, the q80 has about half the dimming zones and no longer has the anti-glare or wide viewing angle layers, and the q90t has about a quarter.

Brought from greentoe more than a week ago and now they're just ignoring my emails while my order is stuck in processing.

Why is Samsung backpedaling on these TVs and downgrading them from their 2019 variants? Kinda sad they're putting everything in their 8K TVs when no one gives a shit about 8K.

Need to see how this compares to the Q70R. Reviews should be coming out soon. I think Rtings already purchased this TV.

Correct, is the Q70R successor despite the name.

Seems that Samsung did this to confuse people. The average person isn't going to do a deep dive on a TVs capabilities. They will see the 2019 and 2020 versions of the 80 model and assume the newer one is better.

That's exactly why they did it. It's a snake move. It seems like their QLED's have gone down in quality each year too, especially the color volume/gamut.

yeah its annoying

Q70R = Q80T
Q80R = Q90T

don't know why they had to make it so confusing
