Will the price go lower?
Last one was bought about 4 months ago at Walmart and it's broken. Has the F2 error. Can't return it without a receipt according to an email to Sunbeam.
Second one broken in a year. For the 3rd one, I'm buying warranty protection.
Any heated blanket brands that's good?

Sometimes you need to unplug them from the wall outlet for a hard reset. Otherwise they do not last very long. The wire coils and electronics fail often on all brands across the board.

had one which broke within a year. however, after I contacted sunbeam and received a warranty replacement, that one has been lasting for about two-three years now and going good

Did you contact them via email? How'd you get the replacement?

Yeah, that worked for a few weeks. But now that trick doesn't work.

Here is what I bought in October from COSTCO. It still is holding up pretty well. The raised fiber of the blanket does an amazing job of retaining heat. Sizes and colors are spotty due to end of season.

How did you pay for it?

If by credit card you should be able to call the credit card company and get a copy of a receipt
Most of the these have multiple year warranties

Probably should fix the attached image. It does not represent what's on the website.

The controller shown on Walmart.com is different. It's a rectangular turd with lights, not the nice and more ergonomic controller in the image attached to the post.

I've had much better luck with Biddeford brand electric blankets. The first few Sunbeams I owned died quickly. The Biddeford I have now has lasted 3 years and still good!

I really don't think a reliable electric blanket exists. I hope they work for at least one cold season. If you look at reviews everyone seems to complain about durability.
