Editor's Notes & Price Research

Written by
  • "On an unforgiving, snow-swept frontier, a group of bloodthirsty bounty hunters, led by the vicious Loco, preys on a band of persecuted outlaws who have taken to the hills. As the price on each head is collected one-by-one, only a mute gunslinger named Silence stands between the innocent refugees and the greed and corruption that the bounty hunters represent. But in this harsh, brutal world, the lines between right and wrong aren't always clear and good doesn't always triumph."

Looks like a great movie, unfortunately not MA compatible and iTunes wants $10 for it. Just added to my Kanopy wishlist, free will work too.

How is this compared to Clint Eastwood movies?

Another option is to rent it on Amazon for only $1.99.
After watching the trailer and reading a lot of reviews, I decided to rent it rather than buy it.

Edit: sorry that a few people thought this was unhelpful; I thought the lower $1.99 rental price was worth mentioning, maybe not? Confused

This is a great movie. I have the DVD with commentary from Repo Man director Alex Cox, that I wish was included with this. But this is must have for spaghetti western fans. If you like High Plains Drifter and Django this is for you.

Or even cheaper, the price to rent the SD version is 99¢ on Amazon (HD rental is $1.99)

Just an FYI - For those of you that have Hoopla linked to your local library card, this is a free rental

Thanks OP. Blu-ray disc is expensive. Sign of things to come as disc media continues to sunset...

FYI the Vudu version is dubbed in English. I actually bought it a couple of weeks ago excited to finally watch but then requested a return when I found this out. It's available through Kanopy in it's original Italian for free with a library card.

For a second I thought this is Sergio Leone's movie.
But, still a good movie.
I guess I will rent it from Amazon as I have credit.

If you like spaghetti westerns you should see this. This is a great price. I own the 50th anniversary blu ray. It's a shame the digital movie doesn't have the Italian audio track but English dub isn't bad at all. I'm going to buy it just to have in digital format.

The ending was a bit controversial, which makes it even more unique western.

Why not go all the way and rent it for $0.99 in SD?
