A buddy of mine used to make clear subboxes for people as a side gig. It's stupid easy to do and engineering students love these projects.

I took these same sticks to college in 2000 and they lasted throughout. Not sure where they ended up. Great sound quality but my friends made fun of how they looked...

I've mostly seen the refurbished ones on sell for as low as $130...but keep in mind refurbished vs. brand new. This doesn't seem like a bad deal.

Bought this many years ago at Comp-USA (Wired), Love them. They are durable! Survived moves, and a flood and they still work. You want durable and worth your money. Now I am not sure how the newer versions work with the blue tooth.
