Soap is hand sanitizer. If you are unable to wash your hands at a sink I can understand using hand sanitizer, but soap and water is preferable.

Why are tissues in such high demand? Is that sort of the same problem as TP where there is plenty produced, but people are hoarding it anyway?

But hand soap 🧼 doesn't have much alcohol right but sanitizers do have at least 60% and above which is what recommended

Soap is preferable.. soap should have little to no alcohol. 🤦 that's only the preference for sanitizer.

soap and water are better if you have access to a sink (the "bad stuff" goes down the sink).
if soap and water are not available then sanitizer should be used with alcohol content 60-70% to kill what you are smearing all over your hands.

the 20 seconds of scrubbing with soap and water will break the outer layer of the virus, therefore making it 'dead'...and then you wash it down the drain...and you don't have to worry about dry skin (as you will have with sanitizer).Smilie
