These are really impressive shoes. But not for the average runner. They're firm, fast and durable. If you ain't picking up the pace (ex sub 8 min miles) likely not worth a look

The Bostons are more firm in feel and have energy rods (Addidas' technology for competitors' carbon plates). EVO SL have a much more cushiony, bouncy/squishy feel. One isn't necessarily better than the other if you are wondering... both are great upper mid-tier/advanced running shoes for different feel preferences.
