The iPhone SE2 will likely be out in a couple months. Rumored price will be $400. It will be much better than an iPhone 8.
You can buy unlimited talk/text and 5GB month for $150 yr at Mint Mobile with a referral. Solid service. Been using them for 8 months.
So at a total cost of $410 with this deal vs $550 for the SE2 when it comes out and an equivalent Mint Mobile plan, the value on this deal seems to only be for people that need a phone ASAP, are willing to go with free service tier, or prioritize absolute cost over over value.
Just my humble opinion.
GSMT = Red Pocket's designation for GSM service on T-mobile
When you sign up with Red Pocket, you receive multiple SIM cards. The A and T designations allow you to pick a network (ATT or Tmo) based on the GSMA sim or GSMT sim.

This is a good deal for their 5gb monthly plan!

Seriously though, anyone who wants this is much better off waiting for the iphone 9/SE2, it will be same body with modern internals for just a bit more than this old iphone 8.
