I would search for the item your are interested in ie. "YETI Roadie 20 vs RTIC etc" you will find many reviews/comparisons to help make your decision.
If your looking for a general consensus
YETI - status symbol; other brands offer the same or slightly less for less money.
I buy YETI products on sale so people think I'm rich as hell because I can spend $300 on a cooler. But it's where I keep my cash cold and hard from the savings on Slickdeals.
IMO, Yeti is about 10% better at about 2x+ the price. There's definitely a quality difference, but unless the cost premium of the Yeti is not that much for your financial situation, it's not worth it.

Anybody know how these compare to Ozark Trail or RTIC?

I have plenty of friends that prefer RITC over yeti due to the price point and being very similar. I still stick with yeti, not because of the name, but their customer service. Any time I have ever had any issue, they are always fast and willing to help. I'd rather pay more for something if the company had good customer service. Not to say RITC doesn't have good customer support, just not familiar with them.

Tho a bit overpriced, Yeti is a solid buy. Pelican as well. RTIC and Ozark Trail can be hit or miss depending on model. Personally, my Roadie 20 and Tundra Haul have been flawless
If we're throwing brands out there, check out Orca as well. US Made, relatively same price range, or less if you can catch them on a deal. https://orcacoolers.com/
Great deal. Hard to find anything better than 20% discount on YETI. Given the current state of the world I would expect to see at least better deals in the coming weeks both from retailers looking to move high dollar inventory AND people looking for cash selling on FB Market and Craigslist.

What you're paying for with Yeti is a long term use, commercial grade product. It doesn't perform much different on Day 1 than the others, but with daily use over a multi-year period, Yeti will show its value. If you don't plan or need this type of wear-and-tear durability, buy the other brands.
