Ditto, I used to order 2-3x per year, but I think part of the problem is that NB is trending hard toward low-grade fashion shoes. I used to find a lot more Minimus training shoes and more "serious" running shoes for $25-$40. Now it seems like 99% Freshrishi Megafoam Dopeazz Superknit Casuals with those white soles that turn gray a couple weeks later.
In NB's defense, that's kind of the shoe business right now.

Huge fan of Joe's, just not the styles of NBs he's been carrying the past year and a half. Good deal though, always willing to drop $24-$30 for a pair. 👍

I bought a pair of NB foam shoes last time they were on SD and love them. The foam makes for an Extremely light-weight pair of shoes and my feet loves that for walking 12-15k steps during lock down.
I got the 590v4 from Olympia last week for $18, and I was amazed how thin and cheap the material. The disposable bag my cheese comes in feels much stronger and more durable. I was initially attracted to NB many years ago when the materials were good quality, but we're in a different world now. After actually seeing this shoe, I realized they're probably not a good buy even at $18.
I've had bad luck with NB over the past few years. The quality has really dropped since they moved production overseas about 10 years ago. I currently have a pair of the 590's and I don't wear them very often. I just noticed that they are tearing around the front toe protector. The tread still looks new on the bottom. The pair I had before the 590's also had a pinch point that caused the fabric to tear. The shoes are light and comfortable but a poor value.
