Reviews say this is just a regular game disc and all the GOTY content still has to be downloaded.

DLC and the pre-order bonuses too I believe. Cheaper than the regular edition, anyway, though if you already own it there's probably no need to buy this

Here is a quick review I posted on a PC deal. Some of the PC specific comments won't apply of course.

Pros:
1. Art Style
2. Controls
3. Change between different types of game play. 2D to 3D to indie type shooter.

Cons:
1. Poor port
2. Crashing
3. Graphics - both details, and doesn't scale well (Ex. the resolution set in the menu does not appear to be the actual resolution it plays at).
4. Menus
5. Every androids happens to be gay. Not sure why (I know I will get down voted for saying, but it just doesn't make any sense)
6. Buildings, etc are very static. Usually can't enter and are mostly there for a backdrop.
7. Environment is somewhat bare.

Neutral:
1. Quests
2. Story

If you want to play this game you should stick to the console version. It is not well optimized for the PC. There are mods out there that can fix some of the issues, but we shouldn't have to rely on the mod community for a playable version of the game.

Thanks I knew waiting would've been a good idea. Had this game before. It's basically the same game, except minor extra content that doesn't change the story.

Just FYI, for those of you who might have an Xbox, this will be added to game pass later this week.

Love this game. I'm still playing it (there are multiple endings). Basically, you play through the same events from a couple different perspectives, then play more to continue to subsequent events. The game has clever ways of revealing the narrative, while having fun action. Gameplay is mostly hack and slash, with some twin-stick shooter segments and some character customization through skill chips and weapon selection. There are many joke endings but the first few endings are necessary for a full understanding of events.

Ignore above post about the story being "neutral", if you like sci-fi at all you will likely very much enjoy this. It is effectively communicated in a slow-ish manner, but has complexity, allegorical meaning and emotional impact. The androids also aren't "all gay" like the above poster is making up for some reason. No performance issues in PS4 version that I've noticed (playing on a Pro).

Riveting game that will go down as an all-time classic. I almost want to buy this edition and sell my old copy just for the dynamic theme and unnecessary DLC.

When a poster above said "neutral" he was giving his opinion and a pro/con comparison between PC and console. Meaning, storywise he's ambivalent. Everyone's opinion is different, we should ignore his opinion as much as yours.

Yep, had to down vote your post. The characters are androids and robots. None of them are gay. Some do have families though.

This is the PS4 version. I played it for something like 85 hours with zero bugs or lag issues. No problems with menus. You can access many of the buildings, and run across the rooftops even in some parts of the game. Some places you can access if you know how to, but you might not think you can.

I'm glad now this game wasn't available for cheaper price!

It's Xbox Gamepass. Of course, it's not on the list, it's not April.
