First I got mine for ~$100 with band and charging cable. I love it for running and any exercise in general. The sleep tracking is pretty good if you set it on sensitive. The heartbeat monitor and fitness tracking is much better than apple watch. Haven't tried others so can't compare. I listen to my music with my Jabra 65t active elites [refurbished] which everyone around here loves. The selling point for me vs other Fitbit devices was the GPS to track runs. Sounds like the charge 4 will have GPS though.
Now for the negatives. Talk about a POS originally connecting to my phone. Failed attempts one after another. Went through it twice since I upgraded phones at one point. Technically S10 wasn't listed as supported but got it working. I would recommend syncing with laptop and updating firmware if issues connecting phone. After it as been paired with phone I have no issues. It stays connected and reconnects beautifully.
Transfering music for me was pretty easy. But let me tell you about getting wireless headphones connected... First no issues with apple airpods. Pairs and reconnects on first try every attempt. Samsung Buds also connect on first pair. HOWEVER, I was never able to get audio to play through the buds. Jabra 65t active, another POS pairing experience. I'll do a mix of restarting both maybe 10 times then without reason try 11 works. No connection issues once paired and music sounds good. Normally reconnects fine after one has been off. This is the most frustrating part for me since I use the 65t to exercise.
This is not a smartwatch. The apps suck and are basically worthless. Watch "faces" are fine but nothing fantastic aesthetically. If you swim this watch is probably a good option. Workout tracking and auto recognition for exercises is great.
Before buying any fitbit device, I'd recommend reading their community forums. Fitbit doesn't seem to address issues. They just try to release a new product to market.
The price I paid is worth it to me. Some of the best exercise tracking software. GPS and wireless music without a phone which I love for running. However, if mine breaks I'm going to buy a more expensive Garmin.
Fitbit support is abysmal and BT connectivity sucks. Google is purposely sabotaging what was on e great fitness watch.

My Versa is bricked too. I'm fiddling with it now trying to get it to work. It lasted a little over a year. On here considering a replacement, but on second thought I will probably stay away from Fitbit.
