These are great prices on really great gear that has an unconditional lifetime warranty. Three months ago that Everyday Backpack V1 was a $250 bag. Mine has been, remarkably, worth it. Rather well abused and zero issues. Brilliant organization too, I don't actually use mine for photography (normally) but as a tech bag for working on the go. The internal dividers make it super simple to put a variety of fragile items in it too. It's been on planes, to the various company offices, etc. I have lived out of one for a week with a laptop, an iPad for a second display, Noise Cancelling over the ear headphones, various chargers and personal care items, and 7 days worth of clothes despite its size, you can confidently smash clothes into it without worry of failure. Extremely high quality product. The V2 bags they have (also on sale) seemingly improve the single complaint people have, which is the zipper reliability. (supposedly that is, I've never had an issue with them, but keep in mind that the V1 has a lifetime warranty.)
Actually, looks like Amazon has price matched at least some of their stuff.

20L V1 (all colors) - https://www.amazon.com/Peak-Desig...01M5JDXG7/
30L V1 (ash, but others are searchable) - https://www.amazon.com/Peak-Desig...01M3Y038Q/

I clicked so fast when I got the email about the sale -- been waiting for a further price drop on the V1 Backpack ever since I saw the V1 Messenger at Sierra Trading Post.

I prefer my 20L V1 to the V2 so this is a great deal.

I love my V1 but the zipper failing is the least of their problems, never seen anyone complain about them, my personal complaint is you can't lock the damn bags, that stupid loop thing is embarrassing on a bag meant to carry a $,1000 plus laptop and thousands of camera gear in it not to mention the top flap can't be locked either. I can lock every zipper on my backpacks that cost $70 down to $10 but can't lock the backpack that cost $250, that makes no sense. My Manfrotto NX camera backpack I bought the other day can fit everything I fit in my Peak Design 20L and I can actually put lock on the zippers and I paid $18 for that on a flash deal from Best Buy.

Peak Design is, hands down, the very worst company I've ever had to deal with. Other than their straps, their stuff is garbage and the company is garbage.

Any reason for such harsh criticism? Most reviews I've seen and feedback from users (including myself) disagree with that.
