1. New Nvidia and AMD cards are nearly announced.
2. These prices will go down, regardless of whether the new gen is worth it to you.
3. These prices are a joke when compared to what AMD is offering.

I'm a fan of Nvidia cards - but first gen RTX cards were a hard flop in my opinion. So much wasted die space for a feature that so few games implemented properly.

These RTX cards will likely be decimated by the new Nvidia cards coming out.
1. They are, but that's pretty much always the case.
2. Again, that's pretty much always the case
3. I think this is a lingering remnant of cryptocurrency mining. Miners really screwed up GPU prices for the people that just want to game. Both nvidia & AMD jacked up their MSRPs after the crypto mining-induced card shortages started to settle down.

I think it's important to consider timing, and frankly - while I think it's not a good idea to spend money as we're entering an almost definite recession - a lot of people are quarantined at home right now, and what are they doing a lot more of? Gaming.

I definitely wouldn't recommend buying this right now if you're even slightly worried about money over the next 3-6 months during this pandemic.. but if you're flush with cash and need a newer GPU to power your re-discovered gaming roots.. this may be a good deal for you.
Nice alternative for those that want 5700xt performances but scared that they might get glitchy software (which I believe has been fixed by recent updates).

Good deal 👍. I have been looking for a 2070 but I might hold off until this fall for the 3000 series to come out.

I ordered it to replace my aging dual 970 setup for my 4K screen. I have read a lot of reviews and benchmarks. This single card should allow me 60fps on a lot of my current and future games at 4k resolution. Not everything, but most. And $400 with tax is a great deal.

Thank you for sharing OP

Worth spending $100 more for the Super?
And when is this 3000 series supposed to release?

I just bought a b-stock 2070 super for $446+tax a few hours ago. One year warranty though. Worth it to me since I plan to upgrade next year after the newer cards are released.

At only 5-10% better? I don't think so.. esp with the 3000 series rumored to be coming soon.

OP, thanks for sharing. Probably better to just say "$379.99 AC" in the title. You should really only put the final price in the title of the post.
