Lots of the Gladiator Equipment and Accessories is on sale. Some prices are okay. I just outfitted my garage with a bunch of gladiator equipment and I'm really happy with it so far. My only complaint is that it can be a little pricey. The Apple of Garage storage...

Any way to route cables in and out of this. Want to hide some smart home equipment and put an extender on top and use for garage storage. Would I just need to cut some holes in the thing?

I have the wall cabinets and they have a hole for cables already. Not sure if these larger cabinets have them or not. I don't have any of this type.

Same price at Lowes for the granite version. If you have a coupon code it will be even less. (btw, really miss that Lowes coupon code thread - saved a ton!)

As someone that has both the welded and the assembled units, the assembled units eventually rust around the joints, welded ones are like the day I bought them.

If you are handy with a drill you can drill into the metal and create holes for the cables. Like another post mentioned, some cabs have holes/openings for cables. I have a whole garage full of Gladiator and 99% of my garage furnishings are Glaidator over the past 9 years. One of the best features is that if you move, you can take all your cabs.chests.hooks etc. with you. This is my second GGW garage.

Climate is milder in CA - I have had RTA cabs for more than several years now. No rust. For household use, just as functional as the welded Premiere cabs although Premiere cabs are a little nicer.

Spend the extra $$ for the Premier line. The RTA stuff is pretty low end.
