You know what they say about guys with big hands, they need a bigger switch grip. I prefer this one over the black set that comes with the switch as the grips are larger for my adult sized hands. Note that these are 100% plastic and don't have the metal inserts the original ones come with but I've never had issues. Few pennies less via the Amazon warehouse(currently $7.59)

While you're at it, any recommendations for joy-cons? Are the aftermarket ones any good?

I've seen posts on reddit of people who bought knockoff joycons from AliExpress that were supposedly decent. Maybe around or just over $20 for them. I think in size they might be somewhat bigger.

Wulff Den actually did a pretty good youtube video [youtube.com] on this not too long ago. Long story short all of the ones on Amazon are from Ali Express just with some sort of name branding changes and minor cosmetic things along the way. The motion and thumb sticks and movement seemed pretty okay across the board it is just the feel and shape itself that is a bit different. Ultimately unless you need the Joycons for Mario Party or something on the go then these [amazon.com] are decent but generally speaking either find a regular pair of joycons on sale for 60 bucks or so with a little hunting, or just get a wired or wireless power a controller. You'll have a better gaming experience and save in the long run.

Thanks! I'll hold out for originals in that case
