As of this posting they have 7 left in stock!

This is for the Wireless version. This does use pixel shifting but from all the reviews I have read it is crystal clear. I especially wanted the wireless version as it supposedly supports additional HDR modes.

For a projector that has a motorized lens along with lens memory this is a great deal. Positioning flexibility is also incredible.

These units also come with the Epson 2 year exchange warranty even though it is refurbished!

Get it quick, these usually don't stay in stock very long and there are 7 available as of this posting.

I know some will bring up the power supply issue but from what I have read this has been resolved more recently, while not perfect with a two year warranty you can't really go wrong. (I've had mine since December without issue)

Some reviews of the NON-wireless version:

Now if only I could find an awesome deal on some Epson RF 3D glasses to go with this.

Don't you love "I wish...." comments? Me neither, lol, but I wish this was as small and light as my benq ht2050. It's twice as big and twice and heavy Frown

Power supply issue is definitely not all resolved. I ordered a unit last time there was a deal on same model. 5 mins after playing the unit died. No power surge or anything, just dead. But the customer service was super helpful and immediately shipped me a new unit, seems like they were aware about the problem. That unit has worked well since, fingers crossed! One interesting thing I noticed was that the lens cover opened in the opposite direction to the unit I received first, may be that's how to tell if these were upgraded. Anyways, power issue is a coin toss, just be prepared. Otherwise excellent projector.

Be aware Epson strangely only used HDMI v1.4 (10.2gbps) ports on this unit vs HDMI 2.0 (18gbps). At the time this projector was released most other competitors were using 18gbps ports. It's one of the reasons I passed on this model.

Native Resolution: 1080p (1920 x 1080) with 4K enhancement)

Any ideas when we will see a real 4K projector, not the upscale or shift pixel crap. In 5 yrs?

They do have projectors that are true 4K, but expect to pay quite a bit more for it. I too can't wait for 4K with projectors but hoping a laser light source wil make HDR for projectors more noticeable and punchy.

4K native projectors are available now but will typically run about $6,000 -$10,000+

Some Examples:
Sony VPL-VW295ES
Sony VPL-VW695ES
JVC DLA-NX5
JVC DLA-NX7

Sony and JVC's mostly

Someone please correct me if things have changed, but the HDMI v1.4 allows for only 4k @30fps. Amazon and Netflix only unlock 4k at 60fps. Therefore this will not play 4k content on these streaming channels. FYI.

You can't return it. Only exchange for another refurb unit if it arrives defective

Can anybody confirm that Netflix and Amazon will not stream at 4K? What about Disney+?

If I had realized that, I would not have ordered. EEK!

why would you purchase a projector and just stream "4k lite." Bluray 4k disc is the only way to go....
