When flipping through ota (over the air) channels on my Samsung it shows the TV channel # AND the name of the program. On my older Vizio it just shows the TV channel # and does NOT show the name of the program. I have to press the "info" button to see the program name and press the "info" button twice to see the description. I find this oversite on Vizio's part EXTREMELY annoying since I don't subscribe to cable etc.
Can someone tell me if this Vizio will display the "Show name" along with the Channel # without having to press the "info" button on the remote when chanel surfing please?!
If it shows the show name and channel # when surfing I am in. If not I will go for the much cheaper 75 Samsung UN75NU6900 for 797.99 at Walmart right now.
All the reviews say this Vizio has a top end picture as good or better than the Samsung Q60's and Q70's! But a bad ui is just bad!
My 12 year old LG 47" 1080 set in my bedroom just died so I need a replacement. I am thinking of putting the PX-75G1 in the livingroom and moving the old Vizio 70 into the bedroom.
Is this a better deal than the 75 inch Samsung q6 for $1299?
This tv will definitely produce a much better & much brighter 4k hdr experience than q6. On paper overall a better tv with better blacks contrast and far more locals Dimming zones and other features . A better deal for $200 more imo. But built in ui may be better more responsive with Samsung and maybe less chance of quality control problems. Solution: Just get a Firetv stick or Roku or shield TV and Vizio pqx will have an outstanding user interface but you may have to play panel lottery if u get a bad panel or have a good warranty to protect you.
The best price ever on 75"pqx was from Sam's club during pre Superbowl sales for $1300. And one person here came away with the display model for $940 after tax. But $1500 seems reasonable for a 75" flagship quality tv that competes with Samsung q90r and Sony x950g.

Thanks for this, I'm going to purchase today and worst case I have 30 days for Costco price match if it goes lower. I already use fire stick for majority of tv viewing so the UI isn't important. Would love to do 82 inch Samsung for sale but just measured and not enough room. 75 is my sweet spot
