Their unexpected shipping option did disappear after a day or two, so there may be a temporary window of shipping available as these sets sell out and their listing pages update to their normal price? Perhaps it may be an unintended consequence of local store system tardy updates? Everyone has surely experienced their day-to-day store inventory 'issues'.. as you've gotten the phone call and their age-old 'non-stocked item story - we don't know why the web page shows 29 available at our store... we don't have any'.. blah-blah...
I have no regrets, its a nice kit for the price, so good luck obtaining one.. and stay safe.

Just an FYI. If you're like me and already have an arsenal of hand tools, and plan to use as a spare in your vehicles or around the house, don't forget about the $6 40pc set from harbor freight. It sometimes goes on sale for $3.99. I have a few of them. It comes in handy doing light duty tasks and don't have to lug or roll by craftsman tool box.

Pretty sure it's some of each. I bought this set and ended up returning it. The ratchets are great, but the sockets are the same exact as the harbor freight quinn sockets. Don't get me wrong, they get the job done for any homeowner, they're decent sockets. The only reason I bought them in the first place is because they said "shallow" and I was hoping they were shorter than my HF sockets. The craftsman shallow sockets are shorter than HF and Kobalt so that's what I was hoping for. Comparing the Quinn HF to Kobalt they are literally the same exact thing (down the the blue and red stripes). I was bummed to return because the ratchets are great, but I ended up getting a couple of the 364 piece household sets last week on clearance for 20 bucks which has the ratchets, sockets, wrenches, etc. My opinion is that the value in this set comes from the ratchet really, because for 10 bucks you can get the exact same sockets at HF.
Would rather buy American.
