I bought the LG OLED65CXP CX Series - 65" this morning from an authorized seller "video only" in Bay Area, CA location. Yes this is a store name
https://www.videoonly.com/
I paid 2100 + tax + recycling fee =
$2300/- total with local next day delivery.
Lowest price for this model seems to be $2500/- total ( No tax in CA) from Value Electronics(Authorized Seller).
It seems that with covid they are more than willing to sell at a discount with very few people in store and low cashflow.
In the Store(Only Video), i saw LG C9/CX and Sony A9G/A8G.
I was either going to buy C9 or CX from an authorized seller, but decided with CX since C9 from greentoe was at $1900/- in CA.
Visually CX seemed little brighter/contrasty than C9 and this was more visible compared to Sony A8G . CX compared to Sony A9G, i could not see any difference
$400 difference on CX vs C9 was worth it to me with better long term support and perceived visual difference. Sony A9G being way more expensive and no visual difference compared to CX, was not my choice.
The store had other good deals on 55" oleds as well, but i didn't pay attention there.
This was my first time and a surprising experience where the store salesman gave me the remote and told me to play around. I was there for 1 hour playing youtube videos on the OLED's and playing with different picture settings to compare them. BestBuy/Costco dont allow this.
Overall good experience and a great deal
Update: You might be able to score this deal at $2000. I spoke to the sales person who sold it to me. He mentioned if i get more buyers he would be willing to go down further
For those who cannot go in-store and/or are out-of-state. There is one more option. You can arrange a third party freight shipping that will pickup from store and deliver. If you are out-of-state, as per the sales guy i talked to, they wont charge any sales-tax.
The sales-guy told me that they are responsible for any damages during local shipment/delivery. Thus they dont ship beyond their geographical assigned areas since it becomes too costly for them.

Was this one the one in Dublin? Not even sure that store was still in business.

Call them up and negotiate
As another poster mentioned, the store does negotiate. You might be able to have them sell it it for 2000/-. This way the savings can help you cover the shipping costs.
