This can't be said enough but the platforms that you choose for your smart devices can make things easier and better for you or even more frustrating than without the smart device.

Out of the various smart devices I purchased over the years, my favorite is Kasa and for the most part, I only buy TP-Link Kasa branded smart devices like these in this post.

I have several HS wall switches for outdoor lighting around my house and one in my house, a couple of outdoor plug outlets for more lighting and a fountain (and two spares for christmas lights), numerous smart pugs for things like fish tanks in my kids rooms, etc. All of this is easy to navigate and schedule using the Kasa app. Set and forget for the most part but can easily turn things on/off by asking Alexa to do it. As comparison, I have similar Wemo and WiOn devices and I no longer use them. Their app is no where near as easy to use as the Kasa app.
Just a heads up for everyone on here: the 3-way pole smart switch set can be used on separate lights. You can wire up a smart switch with a dumb switch. I've done it in my house without issue but the wiring is not the same.

So the deal is 2 switches for 38, or 19/each.

Picked up the 3-way switch pack and used the $5 Amazon gift card from Sprint today. Great deal, thanks!

The outdoor plug worked great this past Christmas! Highly recommend if you have outdoor lights or plan on having outdoor lights.

HS210 (3-way) kit doesn't go on sale as frequently as the single pole HS200. When I bought this kit on the last slick deal back in April, it was $31.99 before tax (point of reference).

This switch has been solid for me in my dining room and it requires a neutral wire.

The kasa app is very pleasant and a breeze to use.
Integrates well with Google Home.

I picked up the Water proof switch at regular price not too long ago for $34.9. Is it worth returning for $8?

So the deal is 4 switches for 38, or slightly less than 10/each.
I have purchased this thinking the same thing before. Their "2-pack" is essentially 2 three-way switches in a single package. Not 2 packages of 2 three way switches. It's still a decent deal, as you are correct, a single 2-pack can control two separate three way circuits. Just don't get too disappointed when your purchase doesn't include 4 smart switches.

It appears there are only two switches in the box. Everything else you said is correct but this would be $19/switch.

I was going to say the same thing...

But maybe he is considering the 2 "dumb" switches you don't replace as now being "smart" because the other side (now "smart") of each of the 3way is effectively controlling the "dumb" switch, thus you are kind of getting 2 each smart switches for free...
In that case, I guess you could argue you are getting 4 instead of 2.

But yes, I would still consider it about $19 per smart switch.

PS: I bought 2 sets of them, as this is the price point I was waiting for, the code works for multiple sets.

Question on this, can you wire 1 of these into a 3 way which has a one of the dumb switches with dimming capabilities?
