If I'm not mistaken, this looks the same as the set sold at ikea.
My IKEA one has passed the test of time at about $20, maybe 5 years

I was thinking the same thing. I have the one from Ikea and it has lasted many years. I think it's going on 4 or 5 years now. I believe I bought it for around $20-$30 bucks? 1 table and 2 chairs.

I didn't give my IKEA one a chance to pass the test of time... Was so flimsy, I didn't want to take a chance (and just wanted something better!).

Ive actually cut my IKEA table down so it's shorter to replicate a chabudai (Japanese short legged table). It's been nearly 9 months and it's still holding up well. And before I cut the legs I've had it for 3 or 4 years before that.

That's the one.
It's not flimsy. Pretty strong.
Light, which is a bonus.

Chairs can handle the weight of a non-squirming heavy adult.

Walmart [walmart.com] used to sell this for $25 online and in-store. Chairs and tabletop are dry erase boards.

Keep tightening the nuts all along because once it starts to get loose and legs wiggle, it will rip the hole out.

I wish they still had espresso. It'd match my kids' furniture.

Umm... Maybe? What condition is it in after all these years? Does that price include shipping? Actually... Sounds like a decent deal, but no thanks, I don't want it for like $20-$30 bucks. I'll just buy this new one from Walmart for $36. You keep yours...
