I got foot tendonitis from improperly fit Bruno Marc's that didn't come in certain half sizes. Threw out the shoes and it simply wasn't worth trying to save a few bucks. Everyone is of course different but make sure the fit is right should you buy these or any new shoe. I can't say I learned my lesson because I'm getting a cortisone shot this week. When the inflammation subsides and I'm back to normal, I will then say it.

Huge bummer. Heal up! Spend money on anything between you and the ground. Mid tier is fine for mattresses, car tires and shoes. Nothing below 6xx series in New Balance running shoes like the shilled garbage all over SD. I always buy 2 pairs when good shoe deals come up. Have 4 pairs of heavily discounted Allen Edmonds from 15 years ago I rotate that way. Got sick of issues with cheap brands.

I'm not sure why the down vote on each post. Dr. suggested I go to the NB store but first, I'm bringing him my current NB and Merrell's to see if what I have are ok. I'm not saying not to buy less expensive shoes if they fit properly. I just didn't expect this issue mainly because I had to size up. Like you said, if you find what fits and the deal is good, stock up.

These and the other Bruno Marc shoes are on sale for a reason. The material that they are made out of readily absorbs water and other liquid which leaves a lasting spotted or splatter pattern on the surface. I purchased the laced version of these shoes and they have a spotted pattern on them from the first day of use. I'll probably still use them but I purchased them to wear to work. The spotting is noticeable enough that I don't want to wear them to work.

So, is this Bruno Marc or *your* fault for continuing to wear a shoe that didn't fit?
